Thats why he recommended to regularly check tire pressure as uneven tire pressure could also activate the system---and yes, it did once one very cold morning. Its been almost ten years, and I still have to verify (Google) to see if all he said was BS.
I don't own Porsche and my coworker owns an old Ford focus we both have TPMS and as far as my car.. it does not activate by rotations.. tire pressure goes low and light lit up. In my car there is TPMS calibration. So when the tire pressure is accurate in all wheels after fill up.. you press and hold a button for few seconds and sensors are calibrated to set pressure.. if it goes low under certain PSI.. it will lit up the light..

Yes in cold morning, sometime the light lit.. but after few miles it will either go away or I have to physically check the pressure to see if it dropped below certain level.

Previously in the 9th Gen, since I had a hardtop PT without fog lights. So I got them fitted later. Atlas had been very kind to provide the wiring and connectors already in the car. The fog lights connection was more like a plug and play.
When I asked my Atlas guy (the one who happens to be my main source of info too) he said "yaar buhut dunya hoti hai tumharay jaisi jo iss tarah ke pangay leti hai, iss liyay hum ne wiring pehle hi de di hai take baad mai agar bazaari electrician yeh kaam karain to chawalain na wajjain gaari k saath aur agar Honda walay bhi karain toh zyada mehnat aur siyaapa na paray"

Well, the other thing which i like is, they give some extra wires in the car glove box for USB and iPod stuff. I actually, don't like a USB connector in the dash head unit

All variants will be more clear with waiting time once official launch is dealt with. But I think hardtop usually has less waiting time compared to Oriel, atleast in 9th Gen hardtop had less waiting period.
People are usually more crazy about the Oriel

We should be ready with eyes wide open in the upcoming week coz Atlas might start shipment and we might get some close peeks on some transporter vehs.

U are right but this time around it will be a diff game altogether... Hardtop will have better market this time i suppose due to alot of factors, price bracket, shape and curves itself, and much more.
In 9th gen the lack in outlook and spark was fulfilled by getting full options in the car by honda fans... This will be opposite for Civic X i thnk... The car itself would be a treat that one might be ready to accept fewer options as compared to top trim..

USDM except base model LX, all trims comes standard with heated side view mirrors.. Again heated side view mirror has such a huge benefit and utility driving in rain and winters.

Does PKDM's had heated side view mirrors in the past ? Will we see it in Civic X?

Here is what I think. I probably mentioned something like this earlier as well. Since most hardtop buyers have not yet booked cars and very few ones who prebooked Oriels will be switching to Hardtop, therefore initially those who have a new booking and book hardtop will see a less waiting time.
My suggestion for @autophile is: If you have not yet started processing your case, do that immediately starting Monday 11th July and get approval for any car with similar price. For instance Oriel which has a mentioned price, or old model Oriel or Grande.
Once your case is approved, change your car option with the bank as approval is mainly concerned with amounts on a listed price for which any car can be used as a base for the case, so immediately after 22nd upon final price release you can book your car without any further delay. If for instance final price is released on 22nd and you book 10 days later you will be back to square 1 of a longer waiting period even for Hardtop.

I hope you mean 1st and 4th July and not June because bookings opened on 6th June. Keeping the load of bookings in mind I guess you are looking at something around October delivery.

sorry dear, its 6th and 11th june, i just checked..for me the whole point of booking early was to get it early, although i assured you that booking was open since 27th may unofficially, which made me wonder if those who booked before official launch will get early delivery as those un official bookings were started by dealers only

Your car booked on 6th June should be expected to get delivered around first week of August and 11th June booked should be around last week of August
