LED headlights will not be complicated. Yes you need to run extra wires from Electric control module and do some splicing to the existing stock connector + around $1200 .. Read these posts https://www.pakwheels.com/forums/civ...33#post5126954

As far as the cluster.. that will be heck of a job and might not be cheap.. Full functional TFT has functional compatibility with Android Auto unit. Too much wiring, new steering wheel with new controls will also be needed. This means you need to move the SRS airbag from the original steering wheel as well. I will not mess up too much.. and after spending too much money and time.. you still don't know if everything is working fine.. If you ask me I can't even see a light lit up for low wind shield liquid..

Don't think cluster would be too much of a problem bro. There was this thread on PW where a simple Corolla meter was converted to optitron one.

So it's better the car remains stock...and I thought cluster is easy to change

And that Corolla optitron cluster have no functionality associated with head unit... The Civic X driver information interface relay phone, media / RDS .. data from head unit which in other markets is Android Auto/ car play.. maybe you can do a swap but you will not get everything on the swapped full cluster until you also swap the head unit.. And is it worth spending that much and that too with a confusion if it will work? Also once a dash opens.. you will welcome all new sounds coming in from the front.. no matter how good your installer is.. you are asking for sqeeks..

Check out Indonesian civic x.. very well equipped but don't have a full digital cluster.. one reason they also don't have android auto head unit..

Maybe once the car gets old the cluster swap might be done, Well that is obvious some features might not be available and cluster would be there just for the sake of change.

Yes.. maybe.. with limited functionality.. when it gets old.. I will start saving for 11th Generation.. rather spending on something which does not effect the over all performance of the car.. and will not add to the value.. just my opinion

Read my blog. I did test drive 1.5T.. for about 20 minutes.. I have driven 9th of my friend but not for too long so for me it's difficult to compare.. but it feels much better in handling. Road comfort, Road noise , insulation comparing 9th.. and fit finish of material is much better.. I never owned Japanese cars in last 13 years so I was more of comparing it with my GLI and GTI.. Civic is still far from Germans in every aspect.. yes they did it very well and made it tough for competition.. again my opinion. No doubt it is best choice in compact car segment in US right now..

9th gen has been targeted for poor eps responsiveness. Will surely test out civic X once it shows up here

I forgot to add.. USDM 9th generation was equipped with Multi-Link rear already. 10th generation using same suspension but improved over 9th and I can feel an improvement on test drive.. PKDM 9th was double wishbone.. so if PKDM comes with multi-link as I am hopeful.. you guys will feel drastic improvement over 9th generation as far as handling.

few members think that the far angle shots of the Civic found on Atlas factory have a raised rear as compared to international version.. and I dont know if this gives us any indication about suspension on PKDM

      Fingers crossed

Indeed a point well raised. I daily drive 9th gen these days and definitely I can feel the compromise made on suspension by our beloved Atlas. Even a small bump comes straight right in cabin as a nightmare plus the terrible road noise is there even after branded tyres.
It's about time we move beyond double wishbone. I really hope Atlas didn't do the same or else apart from new shape there is nothing else to enjoy...and I don't want shell another 6-7 lakhs just for a shape upgrade over 9th gen.

On the other hand Vezel too has stiffer suspension and seriously I have too applaud Honda Japan over here. After testing them side by side. Vezel handles bumps beautifully...I drive Vezel on potholes myself and enjoy how it minimises them moreover Vezel is more engaging and confident and not a single thing comes in the cabin; no vibrations and road noise. But 9th gen is completely opposite.

Lets see how 10th gen performs.

And this is one of the major reasons I still haven't upgraded to 10th gen.
