To be honest the smart entry is a serious blessing. My first experience was on CL9 had the smart card and knob for ignition. Even my Passo had it, remote and The Prius well obviously. Though I didn't like the one on 2nd Gen Prius where the remote had to be inserted in a slot. 3rd Gen Prius system is stupid sometimes as well if you ask me. Everytime the car is being washed it keeps locking and unlocking itself depending upon where water is landing. There's a stupid habit you have of pulling the handle to check if the car is locked and if it was locked it then gets unlocked when checking under this built in habit. The one on passo had a button like on Landcruiser and CL9 had a sensor.

But the convenience of not taking out a remote or key from the pocket is a convenience and a bad habit to make you lazy when getting into a standard car.

Every single time you try getting into a standard car after using one with smart entry, you realise you are being stupid with the handle because this car doesn't have the function and it won't unlock by magic. So after some few seconds of this stupid act due to the habit, you get back to reality.

They could also remove the sensors which prevent locking of trunk/car when the key is inside the trunk/car. Also the sensors which tell u that u left the car running.
So basically cool about smart entry

Yes but hardtop might altogether get a traditional key.

Rest of the variants will have pushstart with smart entry.

The remote remains in the pocket and just with touching the door handle we can lock and unlock the car.
Ye features hum use karay ge tu pata lagay ga. Rest we will still remain happy with tradition unlocking if it stays for another 100 years here.

Yes never Toyota's have sensors on their doors. And while cleaning yes the door look and unlock and irritate but it's easier just put the remote somewhere out of the car's vicinity.

But Civic X will have a traditional button just like Vezel. So it's a blessing indeed. A feature which makes this investment worth it.

I'm wondering what badge they will put for the transmission IF ANY

Is it going to be the old VARIO name they had on the City 3rd Gen CVT. They wont be putting CVT I think because that's what Indus puts on Grande. Or is Atlas going to mix the word MATEC and come up with something like VARIMATEC or VARIOMATEC.

      Any guesses people?

No badge at all would be fine because there is no manual transmission to differentiate anymore but the question is "IF ANY" which keeping in mind this is Pakistan and people are fond of badges is a bright possibility that they will put one

Honda will show off cvt. So they will mention just cvt somewhere.
Abs was also being mentioned in 9th though all variants had it.

But again the word CVT is written on a Grande and Atlas might not use it, they are a bit fond of going Angraiz like they didn't use CVT on City 2003-2008 and instead wrote VARIO. The Prosmatec was just there refined version of an Automatic transmission and they replaced the word with their HI TECH ANGREZ mahol.

Not just ABS on 9th Gen, they started with 8th and that also had standard. In 7th Gen the upgraded EXi with 4 Wheel discs also had it announced (as opposed to ABS on VTi) at the rear screen. They do have to shout it out loud.

Well, in that case, they probably won't use Vario since it was used on City like you said. Only CVT sounds better and will also look good. I hope they use this.

Aahh, you see they just started putting Prosmatec badges on current City also. So Vario was there name for CVT transmission infact and that sticker had in tiny miniature letters written under the Vario its description as well
