      Copied from Wiki:

"A dual pinion steering system is introduced along with a thicker and more rigid 30 mm diameter steering column for improved steering feel, additionally the steering gear ratio is variable, with 2.2 turns lock-to-lock compared to 3.1 turns lock-to-lock from the previous model and a quicker 10.93:1 steering ratio"

So this guarantees that handling, steering control and feel will be in a much different league. The 2.2 movement will be something and a good experience.

I second that however instead of 5th i would pick 6th gen the 1999 model oriel as that was our first ever honda and boy it was a treat at that time. The drive, quality and overall stance was killer. Even to this day my father when talking about cars with someone, he would bring up that car and praise it and he wishes k honda relaunch that car again so that he can buy one brand new. I shall also post few pics of the car if i do find them.

Same here. Our first civic was 2000 model face-lift. It was in shalimar rose colour. What a beauty. We bought the ug model with leather seats. At that time it was the best pkdm sedan.

We sold it in brand new condition with only 30k kms on odo. After selling my father regretted it.

First Civic in the house was a 1998 pre-facelift mid life upgrade VTi Automatic with upgraded rims and 4 wheel Disc brakes and yes it was a treat. But the 92-95 was purely a success leap for the Civic badge.

Infact that particular car is what truely gave life to the Civic name. The one before that, 4th Generation was overshadowed by Accord 86-89 as at that time Accord wasn't 4 times expensive than Civic and was a more preferred car.

But 1990 onwards Accord started getting extinct from our market and Civic 92 came to the rescue of Honda brand in Pakistan. Thanks to the then government for initiating these local plants in Pakistan. And now after 25 years we need another phase of the same principle immediately for more local brands.

CIVIC was once everyone's first and after that FIRST, it has managed to stay and become NEXT.

Civic is kind of an addiction in its class for me.

Yes 10th is wider and longer both. And on top of that a lower height with with more width amd length adds more wilder proportions.

Alongwith change in size the higher hood line and sportback gives it much more visual volume.
