Sure thing sir! Going tomorrow for a thorough inspection. My mind is set on the hardtop this time and shall modify it slowly and gradually to my taste if i do end up buying the car. Oriel is just not making sense to me primarily because it won't be the top spec anymore as turbo is the dady now so even if i get the oriel there will always be that feeling k yaar turbo le ni chahiye thi. Lets see what happens...

Guys since tomorrow is the launch day after Jumma prayer at Honda Classic isb and after being so curious about the new civic.
I know overall it would be a complete package as i am one of the prebooked Turbo customer but i have only one thing that i am going to check after having a demo at launch time and it is none other then Rear entertainment thing
Initially it was an optional addon but when Honda Atlas see no one is going for it but still too many Turbo booking so i guess they decided to add it as standard and increased the price from 2999000 to 3013000 tentative (Rascals).
Now if this rear entertainment thing is added on the head rests then acceptable but if it is just a screen attached with the rear part of the console then I already know that my 3 yr old son will break it with in no time.

There is nothing in head rests. It's just a screen in between and it's pathetic.

People spending that much on a 2.8Mil car should have that extra cash to spend on insurance and registration

Fazal. I read it already and that is why i said this is going to be the first thing i will check at the launch time.
If its just a screen with a plugin/switch or detachable thing then I would remove it from my Civic to save it till the time whenever I plan to sale my civic so that new buyer can put some hands on it

I know we all are car enthusiasts and will check each and everything before taking delivery. Make sure you check that alloys have no scratches.. even minor ones.. reason these are polished wheels and minor scratch over time gets bigger and bigger due to road rash, rain, weather conditions. I have experienced it in the past to telling you the fact.

Also the way these trailers are unloading, I will definitely be looking under the front front and middle portion of the car to make sure they are not messed up due to improper un-loading. Rims mostly get damages while these are unloaded as it gets rash while moving out of the loaders, as the driver is adjusting steering and hit the side of trailers. To be honest I have experienced these minor things so sharing my experience.

Yes bro, apart from my previous confusion between both, confirmed news of No hardtop for next couple of months. So Oriel it is I.A. Would be useless in any case for me to wait another 4 months for hardtop delivery after I have already paid.

I will not be changing the tyres for next year. Will utilise them and initially they are okay for an year or two. The tread wasn't as hard to touch as Eurostars. Why waste them. Tyre shops will not accept this odd size of 215/55-16 at a good rate.

Sabar not a good option at the moment. First I was thinking, once I see the car I will be half done with my anxiety till it gets delivered. Now that I have seen it in reality, the be sabra pan and anxiety have rather grown more intense for an early delivery

That's what I thought when I was convinced at Hardtop. Now that Oriel is finalised I.A. The Car is not an underdog in its presence. Atlas have made no compromise even on the 1.8 Oriel and it has the same presence. Only if you notice the paddle shifters behind steering then you realise its a Turbo. Else they are exactly same cabin wise. Exterior: only the chrome handles and front grill tell you they are different.
