      All the best Hassan, I hope you enjoy the drive, but even then, I would suggest that when you go to get the delivery of your car, do check for any quality lapses and if you find any please make sure to get them registered with the dealership, if possible take photographs and post them to the Atlas emails and Honda international customer feedback. It wont take long and will hopefully make it easier for you to get the piece fixed or replaced. That would be your part in helping bring the consumer rights back to the consumer.

      And again, just to make sure I am not focusing on just one company, regardless of the auto manufacturer, may it be atlas, indus, suzuki or chingchi, if you find anything that you think is not what you paid for, use your right as the customer and make your objection heard and noticed. 10 min se ziada shayd hi jhik jhik ho lekin to make a difference we need to face a bit of inconvenience.       @iavais did consult his lawyer. And the lawyer suggested that only people who have booked this car should come forward otherwise i would have jumped in.

      The case is quite strong when it comes to competition commission of pakistan. I doubt consumer courts will give anything.

      But if you really want to be heard and have an impact, there are 2 forums:
      1. Pakwheels
      2. Social media (facebook and twitter).

      At Pakwheels We all have already tried our level best to give an unbiased opinion and pointed out obvious fit and finish defects in the car. Now is the time to take this up on social media.
      Just a quick question, is it possible for a person who has booked a car and he wants to take Atlas to consumer court after he gets the delivery of the vehicle, I mean that way he would have all the proofs and legal agreements in black and white. Forexample, for as small a thing as a LED fog lamp when finally comes to you as a halogen lamp can Honda Atlas be tried in a consumer court for misinterpretation of facts considering that the dealerships mentioned LED fog lamps on their own brouchers?

      beleive me am not a corolla fan at all i was waiting for this civic and the hipe it was created... but thank God i was not among those who deposited 1 m rs without seeing and even knowing what all is being offered by atlas ... but after seeing the cars shape i was not much against it though didnt liked much but then when homda started depriving pakistani customer by reducing its functions and giving a cheap n unpapular stuff and the final nail in coffin was provided by the poor craftsmen in its pathetic finish...which seems hirridly done to launch and pull the customer who were annoyed with its hi octane(in case turbo 1.5)
      after comparing its price n functions with grande... grande looks more worth spending 2.5 m as it has a lovely interior and after adding climate control and immobilizer it becomes far better then civic x( civic 9 th gen has surely better interior and well placed clusters it still feels better then grande n civic x...

      so my choice tilted towards grande

      thumbs up atlas for the big disappointment for honda lovers.... who were having the biggest claim that hinda NEVER COMPROMISE ON QUALITY

      Well, you and I may have a lot of differences but regardless of those, I would still like if you would join in on the discussion. To be honest, for a month or so since the hype of the civic picked up pace I really enjoyed going through this thread while I sat at a God forsaken place where I hardly managed an internet connection for a few hours max. Your comments, your reviews on everything starting from the Luxo BG or whatever it was called down to your detailed price calculations really made the thread a joy to go through. Now, when the car is actually launched and the time for actuall discussions are here it will be a shame if we loose your valuable feedback. If you dont like what I say, well, I am sorry, but thats my opinion I cant change it for anyone but the good thing is I am here for a very short time and I ll be going back in a few days, after that, probably the general opinion will tilt back in your favour But regardless of that, I wouldnt like a fellow pakwheeler, a valuable pakwheeler to stop giving his useful feedback to some of us non technical motorheads. Hope this buries the hatchet and we can see you real soon back in the thread.

      First thing to do is to round up 500 or so customers who have booked the car and then go to honda atlas factory and stage a sit-in. Point should be either improve the quality of the product or refund the money we all have paid. But if not either one then we will take legal action in consumer courts and bring the company down.

      I was also planning to book the car, I didn't care about what the price tag was, I just thought about the driving pleasure. As soon as rumour started surfacing about the features of the car, I became skeptical that Atlas would end up giving us a lemon. Even after all this, I overlooked it and thought of getting an Oriel since the Turbo was way too overpriced and had almost the same features as the Oriel. Upon visiting the dealership, what I saw was truly shocking, how could I expect good driving pleasure from a car that was put together so badly that everything seemed as if it was about to break apart right there just after a mere few hours, therefore I put down all thought of buying the Civic. Will hopefully go for a Vezel or an A3 now.

      Khair i am a proud prebooker of CivicX and would love to take it as it is. Shukar nhi kerty k PKDM may koi shandaar gari ki entry hoe hy ar sath hi sab ko 440 watt ka shock lag gya.

      I wouldnt suggest a sit in protest, maybe rounding up 30 to 40 customers and going to a media group for a piece in the news would do the trick. Maybe just going to one of the closest dealership with two or more playcards would do the trick and before going dont forget to inform the news channel of a breaking news at so and so location. Nowdays anything can become a headline. Do not let yourself be labelled as Honda customers, let yourself me termed as consumers and launch a protest or get your opinion heard as a consumer's grievances against all the Pakistani Auto makers. Even news channels will not air your segment if its against a single corporation. Afterall we are fighting for consumer rights denied by all manufacturers and not just Honda atlas. This act will not only make the auto makers wake up but might also get some response from the govt ministers handling the auto policy, zahir hai sirf protest dikha ke to news nahi baney gi na,
      "is muamle main wazeer-e-azam ke musheer-e- khaas baraye auto sector ka kehna tha ke........."
      And viola you have a news segment.
