If you go back in this thread and read my comments, I have nothing but praises for this car. But I have just come back from a trip to galiyat on my reborn, and now when I think about the practicality, I am not so sure anymore if I'd buy one. I don't know, I am confused now. It probably all depends on what we get here. If we get the turbo engine with cvt at the same price as the outgoing model, then off course it's an easy decision.

But still with longer wheelbase and low ground clearance, it'll be a pain to drive here. Let's say the top model comes at 2.5 mil in september next year, add your reg/tax and you are looking at 2.6-2.7 mil. 5 grade 2014 vezel's asking price is already at 2.8 mil and I expect it to go down to 2.5 mil by mid next year. So why would I want to buy a civic, just for show and shashka ?

I wont even swap 8th gen civic for vezel. When you are inclined to a civic you just cant help yourself.

Vezel is a glorified hatchback in my opinion and Civic is a proper car.
No offence to Vezel fans but park it next to a Vitz and notice what i am saying. Just giving it a chunkier body and bigger tyres doesn't take it to SUV Category.
Also if you want to compare it to a Civic then compare it to a brand new one. Honda HR-V is being offered for 3.5 million by Atlas. If you compare a 2014 Civic to 2014 Vezel in terms of price, the price difference as of today is about 1 million and will remain the same.
The 10th Civic is lower than outgoing 9th which was already higher than 8th. So by no means Honda has made it lower than a Reborn. They practically do know its a practical family sedan with added punch so they won't ruin this fact just for sportiness. If people have been driving reborns without issues and even lower prius 3rd gens, then new Civic is not an issue at all.
And yes, when ure a Civic fan you can live with issues it has.

No matter how great the upcoming coming is, we will still be getting EuroStars with 15 inch rims.

Ali Bhai its just a perception of yours. Vezel looks boss from every angle.
The front, sides and the back. Civic chotti lagti hai.
And It beats the crap out of civic no matter what generation. And the 1 million difference is justified, civic is inferior in almost everything; quality, comfort, power etc.
And upcoming PKDM 10th civic will remain inferior as well.

You maybe right yaar, but i had initially made up my mind to buy it. But when I experienced it I didn't feel comfortable spending 3.5 mill on it. Didn't feel it to be worth that much. Specially the congested rear was a major put off.
To me it felt like a fatter and chunkier glorified hatchback.
Or maybe because i have never been able to like crossovers and SUV's though i have tried a lot to like them, despite having an opportunity given by Allah to own a Prado which I don't like to drive.

plus Vezel / HRV is just 1.5 with no turbo charged ENGINE no sunroof. I drive reborn and honestly it hurts me not the car when a normal speed breaker hits the car bottom. it's really painful to drive this beauty just because it's too close to the road than the owner.

what so fun about hydraulic steering. I don't find any charm in it. but I would appreciate if you share the benefits because my new city is much better than hard reborn's steering.

^Its all fun and low amount of comfort. Give a hard and solid feel to the car over high speeds in particular. You can enjoy your city and we can enjoy our civic.

I personally prefer hydraulic steering, a reason why 9th gen has lesser steering response than 8th. The hydraulic one in 8th gave a better feedback and a little more precision. The electronic one by honda needs more refinement which i hope they improve in future models. The slight heaviness has a sense of control.

When you are in vezel. The fit and finish alone justifies its price tag. And its no way cramped.

To me it felt like a fatter and chunkier glorified hatchback.
Or maybe because i have never been able to like crossovers and SUV's though i have tried a lot to like them, despite having an opportunity given by Allah to own a Prado which I don't like to drive.

Trust me it felt super cramped, unless ure height is below average. I am 5-11 which isn't exactly tall and with the front seat adjusted according to my height it was suffocating to sit at the back.
