yes these are things which makes car expensive or little costly to produce. over time I am sure welds will be no more.. Chemical adhesives have already taken over welds as far as car industry.. Although weld is a complete engineering and very sophisticated procedure.

Civic has got 5 star rating in side impact crash test where the door/ side air bags comes into play.. Currently single frames are expensive as far as I know and you will see only high end cars.. I think some low end brands have already started working on it. VW use single frame for which I shared my car door image. It also make cars look better.. performance wise these technologies might be of same value , single frame may be little better.

I can confirm as my GTI has single frame and in top 2 as far as side crash rating. keeping in mind its a hatchback http://www.thecarcrashdetective.com/...-in-2015.html/

As in joints you can have two different density alloys put together to make a stronger frame?

US 87 is RON 91.. which is the baseline fuel in US. In US there is no RON rating.. it's R+M/2 formula.. that's why there was confusion initially that of Civic can run on 87 in US why not 87 in PK. In US 87 is called regular but octane wise it's 91 as per Euros standards.

AFAIK, vehicles are required to provide two independent braking systems for safety and backup. If the primary system fails, then one ought to be able to use the secondary system to stop the vehicle in case of an emergency. The parking brake serves this purpose. It wouldn't make sense to disable this system once the car starts moving.

There is a video on youtube in which a person demonstrates what happens when you pull the electronic parking brake while driving...the car decelerates and stops just like when u press the foot brake while driving

      What is this honda...?
Is the 1.8L engine a downgrade from the previous gen or is it just to show the customers that u have to use hi-octane because it has to do more compression...?

the side indicator in the front bumper is so snugly fitted that it can be snapped out by hands easily! mud flaps are absolutely insane, i mean the are of no use! mud flaps have no height to protect from mud! extreeemely poor paint quality! gap in trunk and tail lights, front body fender and chassis has a big GAP and plastic shields are visible from the bonnet, ecu is fitted inside bonnet like corolla. side skirts can be snapped out by hands, hollow doors, low roof liner at rear* not an issue though! but rear cabin area is small. and lastly 25 or 30 lacs! definitely a rip off.... no rear lava lights! liked the front lamp assy alot! glad to see rear ac and climate control! awesome car design! nice engine but overall not worth buying at insane price

This confirms that PKDM Civic did slightly changed the alignment of wiper arm on passenger side. Dark shades always bring out the curves much better and after proper detailing they are best.

mud flaps.. hardly anyone use it here.. Unless you are driving a rally car.. Long gone and I hardly see here..

As far as Civic X, its lowered car.. larger flaps means touch every other bump.

Just to let you know the fender lights are not indicators. Just parking lights.
Get over the fact that Xli lacks power windows, Its an Xli because it lacks thoose features or else it would be a Gli or an Altis if had all the goodies.

Ok so I got the Oriel Booked with Navigation mostly for the factory installed cameras. Now this friend tells me that there are cameras in non navigation Oriels as well. Can anyone please confirm this?

My understanding is Oriel without Navigation has a CD Player and no Cameras. Is that correct?
