I made a general observation. Again the question is you are paying for it. Atlas is not giving it to you free.

If you remember few weeks ago I also mentioned the way these cars are being unloaded from trailers.

On side note. I do visit Pakistan frequently and all my family still lives there so I understand your point

These pocket ripping car makers are saving every single rupee. Take the trunk sheet for example. They possibly won't care about the transit protection. More importantly than that we should first hope the dealership washing procedure is rectified. I mean Swirls in a brand new fresh car?

To start with, all the owners here should seriously instruct their dealership not to wash the car till they are present as you want to witness the washing method and products, else tell them in an angry tone "iss se behtar ho ga aap mujhay gandee gari de dena" this is something I have already told my dealership strictly.

but the issue is that then how would one be able to spot scratches and any other minor damages which may be covered by dust?

If we start giving them this habit of totally no wash at all that will be even better for them. They will get more lazy in this case

Not my car but this is exactly how my one came.. the cover is dust and water proof with soft padding . Also there are wraps on trunk, roof before this cover goes on.as you can see on top of car in background

Honda comes just with wrap on hood roof and trunk

I have a query regarding navigation.

I have decided to go for oriel without leather. I can't decide about the navigation. Budget is not the issue, I am looking for the best experience. I like the way the stock navigation looks in term of it's fittings and don't want to compromise on its looks. Also back camera is a must.

Should I go for the stock navigation or are the aftermarket options a better choice?

Just got a confirmation.PKDM Civic 1.5T is NOT fitted with Hydrulic Bushings.

Civic across globe has multi-link rear but there are some connected facts

In US 2L gets 16" wheels. 1.5T gets 17" standard.
      Civic in Australia 1.8 gets 16" 1.5T 17"
      Thailand 1.8 have 16", 1.5T 17" standard.
Indonesian only have 1.5T and its 17".

I was at local dealer and I discussed about the new multi-link rear suspension on Civic X. As I mentioned many time before as well even 9th was having multi link in US as well as Thailand. I asked him him whats new.. and I came to know that the multi-liNK has been improved over previous by making it better as far as the suspension design. The major development and improvement is the availability of hydraulic fluid filled rear bushing. Yes this is something you see on high end cars and Honda provided this to 1.5T only. The fluid filed busing gives much better control on noise, vibration and handling.

Its not there on 2L models in US and I was told by Honda product specialist that availability of standard 17" wheel is not just for making car look better or upscale but it has a lot to do with the proper handling and suspension setup.

Sadly 1.5 T PKDM is the only Civic across globe with 16" wheels. This no wonder tends to push me and think that PKDM Civic is/ might not be with the hydraulic fluid filled rear bushing which actually Honda very well documented and its part of their detailed press kit and they projected it a lot. Also the other main thing associated with the suspension is the wide stance and lower COG on Civic X.. which is about 14 to 15 mm lower of the outgoing 9th.

We also know that PKDM civic is not only with 16" wheels on turbo, it is also has a ground clearance of 153mm which is 20mm more than other global Civics. This means that PKDM suspension is though a new multi-link rear but its not what we have on overseas model. I would not apply international review of handling on PKDM as all inputs are completely changed. I wish I could test drive and tell you an immediate difference but I am sure there will eb a major difference.

Will anyone call the dealer and ask what they have in rear suspension? Also are there stabilizers bars as on international model because Honda website just don't talk about anything which matters most.

unless you can compromise on the fittings and aesthetics of aftermarket navigation units go with factory fitted oem navigation

That was quick indeed, but I am just concerned that our awam can handle the power of turbo and actually don't show its power in congested traffic of karachi....too much risk involved in speeding within city roads.

If you want to keep your electrical warranty go for stock one. If you are not bothered about any electrical gadget malfunctioning for which no warranty will cover it, then you can go for aftermarket systems.

But I highly recommend you shouldn't go for aftermarket stuff. The way they open the trimmings, cut wires, install camera and then never complete clips and screws while fitting things back is not something I would want. Original stuff has its own quality method of installation. Atleast the original trunk garnish doesn't get cut with desi method to fit camera.

And also the fitting of these aftermarket systems isn't usually accurate

Pray for us that if our country will be like yours. only if we prefer to change.

To be honest I hate car Covers.. specially if you live in dusty areas because dust will accumulate under cover and once you remove the cover there are chances of swirls. Check for Good quality body tight car specific covers.. but as I said it's not 100% and you will face issues inform of swirls.. swirl happens when you move dust particles.. if it's without cover the dust will stay and you can just wash it off.

I have a air blower.. I just blow it away. Normally here it's zero dust.

The cover is my picture is of the car when it came to dealer from factory.

Thanks for the lovely wishes bro.

Sir its somewhere in transit. But before delivery I will have to get it insured and register it which may take another day or 2 after it comes at the dealership.

I hope its received before Friday else will have to wait till monday.
