I personally believe that they were shown better pieces out of the defected lot and this visit won't actually reap any benefit to the end consumer.

But one thing is pleasing here that OUR voice was heard and they took an initiative, i would be glad to have stood wrong in my judgement and i really hope that these people knock some sense into Atlas and were able to find the defects in the cars.

Atleast they will improve even if the shown pieces were better. They'd know things can't go unnoticed now and this will bear even better results.

Although there already is a visible improvement in production cars. Though it can be better further.

I have no more details but someone who shared these pictures with me was there to pickup/ see his car when these people came in unannounced. They interacted with the customers and took the feedback.. Also they did know about everything going on the social media and news items about the quality issues.

I got these pictures from one of my friend who got the permission from the actual person who took the pictures.. I have already sent him an email and asked him to explain in detail what these people asked customers and if the cars they saw were found with any issues. I am sure dealers have replaced cars with the better one on the display . But at least this is a good step in the right direction. We all know how you keep auditors and handle them.

As far as cars with defects at time of delivery.. I asked this question sometime ago.. what happens to the first batch .. here is what I asked https://www.pakwheels.com/forums/civ...33#post5153110

if they are aware of social media uproar than they are well aware of the defects spotted in the QC, it's a small step towards the right direction and those who accept crap in name of "kyon kai yeh Pakistan hai yahan tu aisay hi huta hai" should stop being so gullible and learn your rights as consumer.

That was the delay i was talking about because of electronic throttle in vezel and in the new cars. By the way there is any lag in S mode?

damn, there was and is no lag in cvt equipped cars i drove. Honda should reduce it. That 1-1.5 secs can cost us a lost race lol

Which CVT you drove with Turbo?

There are two delays here for Civic.. one delay is due to response at high Rev and the other is the turbo lag.. both are diffrent. That's why I said few days ago, Honda tuned it well the turbo and CVT.

Drive a Subaru WRX with CVT and you will feel how annoying these two delays are.. Civic is not a performance car. It's a daily driven economy sedan.. CVT .. turbo are for better fuel economy, less footprint and improved performance than previous..

I know about turbo lag. Thats at specific rpms when turbo kicks in but I'm talking about lag when you floor from stop. You don't feel that in normal driving. Anyways, I drove Honda Insight Hybrid CVT, Toyota Belta and All kind of 660s with CVTs

Yes from stop.. there will be lag if you floor it hard. it's normal for Civic . some cars have more.. some less.. I am not expert but car makers do few things to reduce the lag..

In my experience.. I have hardly a lag in my car... but when I test drive Civic.. there was a lag .. again in back of my mind.. my car was there in my head.. for comparison.
