Can somebody elaborate how a wider Tyre size 225/55 R16 would effect the ride quality of the new civic X turbo??? would it be wise to get 225/55 R16 or what would be the best compromise in order to get the correct balance between performance and economy???

Can someone tell me how is the navigation system in the Oriel? And if I buy non-navi will it be possible (and is it wise) to install aftermarket navigation system?

Secondly can someone post a picture of the meter display? I want to see what information is available there.
Please quote or tag me if you want me to reply as I dont check forums often.

I honestly think civic X will give Audi A3 1.8T a tough time in a drag race- (Quarter mile). Although, I would not put my money on the Civic X but if A3 1.8 wins it will be by a hair. @salik990 since Mash ALLAH you are fixing to have all three in your garage do give us the 0-60mph or 0-100kph times for all of them on premium fuel.
Thanks i had races with few cars and won most of the races from stand still to quartermile. The number of cars i ve beaten:
      Vezel
      Markx 300G
      Rx8 6spd manual
      Honda Euro R
      C200cgi
      E250cgi
      Ranger rover sport supercharged 2006

Few races i lost to :
      Honda S2000
      Honda civic K24 swapped
      Toyota Tundra crewmax 4x2 5.7ltr
      Charade 88 model swapped F20b

Btw A3 1.8T here is 180hp with 7spd dsg its slightly more faster than US version.

Awaiting to race new civic 1.5T
My lugnuts require more torque than your Vtec can put out...

Do you have a tentative date on when you will be getting your civic X turbo??? I have also booked a turbo in lunar silver on the 10th of June from Honda Avenue Islamabad and in shaa ALLAH the tentative date they gave me was between 15th to 25th august. And am thinking about changing the tyres to continental 225/55 R16. What would be your suggestion???

Hoping it would get quicker after 1000 km

Also it was raining when it got delivered so when I got home I could smell a burning rubber smell from the outside the. Today after a drive I asked my guy to clean the tires. When he put water on the tires there was steam coming from the inside of the rim where the brakes etc are fixed. Is this normal?
Try not to do that again. It's the brake discs that become hot and putting water on them is not at all recommend as it can cause the disc to bend resulting in a wobbling feel when you press the pedal.
There is nothing to be alarmed about but try to put water on it after it has cooled down.

Afsoos k sath kehna per reha hai, Atlas Civic X k sath bhy wahy ker rahy hai, jo us ne 9th gen k sath ki thy. 9th gen was not a bad car, only Atlas ruined it with cheap interior and skipping the facelift.

      Again,

Not promoting any illegal street racing but read a comment above that 1.5t X will give a good match to A3 1.8t.

1.8t will walk up and down any given day over 1.5t X.

Statistics are yes credible sources to assume things, but what's on paper is just on paper.

In reality it's a different thing altogether.

1.8t Audi A3 is quite a fast and agile car.

Not that I have driven any of the two cars(Audi A3 1.8 or Honda Civic 1.5 Turbo) so can't really say, but have a look at the two videos I have posted. @salik990, sir looking at these videos above piqued my interest. It will be interesting to know the true power of the little 1.5l Turbo, but again as you said the engine needs to break in properly.

Continentals are very good tyres. I would recommend them over the rest of the two you mentioned any day.

I find these videos to not to be true to reality.

Audi on their website claim the 1.8tfsi to go from 0-100 in 7.3sec.
Factory figures are also not close to the actual, and not at all under racing circumstances.

In such a situation a good launch+driver can shave off some 0.3 to 0.5 secs.

Also the video you posted shows the A3 in Normal driving mode with traction on doing it in 7.7sec and with Sports mode with traction on in 8.1sec.

Means the sports mode makes the car even slower?

These youtube channels are at times bias.

I've yet to sit in a Honda 1.5T but i've sat in an A3 and it's really quick.

I saw a guy fighting with dealership for not telling him in advance to get pay orders / drafts made for two cars per CNIC rather than one one pay order on one CNIC for 10 cars. Yes, 10 cars.... For this silly 'ON' thing.

'ON' is actually the shortest form of the term, "amount ON top of price".
Well if he has money and he books 10 Cars , lets say he gets 2 lac own on each car average.
He makes 20 lacs in less than 2 months time frame.
Add 10 lacs more book a 1.5T and here you have 1.5T in just 10 lacs.

Just for those who have spare money.

One more thing to add. on US bound German cars [ at least VW/ Audi] , Traction control still don't completely disengage. In other words if even you press a button and switch it off. its still not completely off.

Isn't there a rule where you can only book one or perhaps two cars on your CNIC or against your NTN in one year?

I also happen to know a customer in my bank who got cars booked in his wife's name, two cars in his name and two on hers!

It's easy money, all you have to do is roll cars lol!

With Sports Mode On and Traction Off, the A3 was still slower than being in Normal mode with Traction On.

      I highly doubt the video.

      Anyways moving forward.

Yes, rightly said Fazal Bhai, it's even in the case of some Japanese cars. My friend has a MarkX 300 and he tells me that even if he turns the traction control off and tries to drift the car or on corners he tells me that it isn't completely disengaged and doesn't let him drift freely.

Is this really a safety feature?
Because you're driving with the notion that TRC is off and the car suddenly doesn't act like you want it to, not too pleasing for the drifter category. 😬
