Well I mentioned quality setbacks with Honda representatives at showroom and they declined of having any issues. He said that they are rumours and there are no quality issues. Then I asked the guy to follow me and I showed him like 5-6 areas. To my surprise, he said " bhai Gari buhat Bari hai and dashboard heavy hai to Essi misalignment to ho gi hi bilkul set nai ho sakta" ✋ I just walked out.

Fazal Bhai, keep pushing hard and let us know if and when you want us to step in.

The decent response from you to those stupids was a perfect comeback. Two thumbs up!

Ok so i went to Honda Fort to get my boss's car booked, he needed to book a 1.5Aspire for his mother.

The showroom was sort of not flooded with people to i had ample time to play around the X while my boss was busy with his booking.

I sort of do not agree to some facts posted by people, for one that the driving position is low. It was at a good height, found it at Par with 9th, in fact i found the driving position to be lower in 9th.

The steering, pathetic, the buttons well aren't that bad.

I liked how they have put the chasis number in the footboard of the driver.

The door welds have improved but honestly the quality of the doors is pathetic, you push the door and it literally wobbles with your touch.

On our way back we were driving in a 9th, and i specifically checked for these defects there, and they weren't there.

Although these points have been discussed many times but i just couldnt keep my feelings aback after seeing and finding a new flaw everytime i sit in the car.

What about the manual version. hardtop 1.5T if not priced properly would be even more annoying thing.

This kind of suspension provides multiple purposes. It comprises of two bones which support the car and make wish for comfort hence providing more than one purpose therefore called multi purpose double wish bone suspension.

And when the car is parked somewhere stray dogs come to feast from these bones and that's another added purpose.

They did not even give training to their staff on the upcomming model.

When ever toyota launches new model people on every dealership are invited on a training on that model before it is launched.

Before launching the new toyota upgraded version one of my friend at dealership told me a month before the release that they went for training and the color of the alloys is also changed. He knew it one month before release and had undergone complete training on upgraded version.

I thought honda was better at these things than toyota bit now its the other way around.

Hope they launch it with a sane price tag.

Air conditioning in turbo 1.5 will perform better and will be superior to all 1.8 versions as per what they were told and observed.

Well even if that happens dont expect any miracles , the price still would be high , the control price is 2999/- at present for hardtop version of same car deduct 150k from 2999/- ( the diff between 1.8 hardtop and oriel is 150k ) and also subtract 74500 and 59500 for navi and leather respectively .. It would still cost 2715000/- ..
And considering low tax and registration charges for 1.5 Oriel and 1.5 hardtop will have almost same price tag .. that could be the death of 1.8 variant and they simply cant produce so many Turbos and already want more and more ppl to buy 1.8 in which they have succeeded

R18 is already being offered with manual transmission in previous versions of civic, so it should not be an issue.

however for turbo version a manual surely makes sense to experience the surge actually in an appropriate manner. so i hope honda understands the requirement and offer the car soon .

All it required was front shock replacement which got displaced during its first month, warranty covered that. And a year back, Ac water drainage problem which was corrected by toyota in an hour. I didn't know that 8th gen had so many problems.
2005 civic is good though, it's still running fine with 135000 on odometer.
