there are many things that are mandated on passenger cars in the USA. e.g. any car made after 2008 should have a TPMS with warning lamp. Its not offered as luxury, its the gornamint danda at work.

The front 2 airbags are mandatory too - but nowadays the japanese company Takata that made nearly 95% of them globally are under fire as their airbags have become bombs and are killing people.

sir , ABS, traction control and air bags are mandatory and standard across the vehicles as its mandated by Federal Law here in US..

Brake hold is not a safety feature as such, its more of a convenience.. [some people mistakenly take it as automatic radar braking, that different thing]

Overall safety/ rating of the car depends on some primary features which includes air bags as well as ABS and other related functions.. when cars are tested here in US.. they are mostly tested in its basic trim levels .. any active safety features.. are just additional plus and added in foot notes but does not add to safety rating overall, nor NHTSA or IIHS test active safety features for rating.

VHS+ABS as seen as a sticker on PKDM Civic is obviously better but Its nothing new and was there on all internationals Civics even on 9th generation. Yes its new for Pakistan but we are very late on it.

BTW NHTSA now started testing cars for their headlights.. all future ratings will include lighting rating as well.

BRAKE hold is not a safety feature... its convenience feature.... you still need to apply brake at stop and later release your foot. Its not automatic braking ..

while VHS, traction control are safety requirements... its required.. its mandated by law.. I don't know know Atlas brags about it because its their duty to follow international standard as far as safety.. They should not be proud of it.. its their responsibility to make cars safer by providing these basic things.. ABS, traction control or whatever..

Even Honda NA don't classified Brake Hold as safety feature..

VHS and traction control are certainly safety features for sure. But brake hold is for the driver's convenience.

Lol at people comparing performance figures of what are mid-sized family sedans. These are not track ready, stripped down, lightweight, aerodynamic, agile and fast pocket rockets or super cars.

Curtains should've been there but honestly VSC is a great feature and will prevent many accidnets. When accidneta are prevented you don't need airbags but not in all cases. IMO in this price 6 Airbags should've been standard.

Not nice to mock and laugh at them. Nothing wrong if they are passionate enough to compare the performance figures, even if it's just the family sedan.

push start is not an extra ordinary thing as it comes in 660cc JDMs also. rather as per pakistani condition some sort of manual mechanical things are more reliable.

sir they are giving you a rear view camera as optional on 1.8.. which is a standard feature even on base Civic elsewhere...

BTW.. rear view camera law gone into effect in US and all car makers must have it installed by 2017/18.. So all new generation cars which will be there in their current generation in 2017/18 already proved the camera on all trims and Civic is one of it..

The features that they have given, they could not strip further from the CKD. They have already stipped digital cluster and so many other features.

I don't know what this big brag is about VSA.
Atlas just has to give it as it comes on all international variants otherwise they would have for sure stripped this feature from civic. The same push start comes in 2008 vitz nothing again special. Can be plug and play kit installed in city corolla too
