Why rip open the panels of a new 2.8 million rs car? No sir I will still stay away from putting my money on a car with so many question marks.

If Honda is properly concealing hidden area and properly following Honda cabling and assembling standards. So it is pretty sure Kay 140 km/hr pay weld will remain intact. So one of our fellow member concern is addressed :-)

Hopefully in coming days we will see much better finishing as well.

Whenever there is an issue of demand and supply quality does get effected. Either it's car or anything else. When u have a target of delivering or manufacturing 2500 (just a hypothetical figure ) cars a month and ur day night production capacity is less so one will compromise on finishing and craftsmanship or suffer delays or loss.

Now with year end coming so booking numbers may reduce due to people now waiting for next year deliveries, so we will see better job from Honda.

Why? What happened to original panels. Was the quality not up to the mark? This unit could be clean, but I am not confident about others right now.

      Nice catch Dr sahab
The finish of inside is great no doubt. They used special insulation sheets. A step up from 9th gen civic. Hopefully the rest of the fit and finish will improve as well as currently demand is so much that everything is being done in hassle.
If they can fit this then obviously they can improve rest of the car aswell. Hum bhi suber kerk hi book kerwaye ge.
Commo Atlas. Really counting on you!

I have been told by a respected owner on a detailed telephonic conversation and he will share his opinion about it in few days here as well, just waiting how bad it gets..

The central console started rattling a lot even after 1000 kilometer.

The head unit has a lot of functional bugs , like if your phone is connected to head unit at a certain normal volume and you switch off the car. When you switch back on the car, the volume goes to full. There are few others which can be fixed by any software update and these are random.. not all cars not necessarily have it.

Anyone here having Navigation unit in the car, please share if you experience same.

      Thanks

Janab phir wohi....!! It was not a quality issue... The owner didnot opt for leather package from Atlas and wanted to get leathrite of his own liking and to save cost.

How good is the quality of material and fit of this after market upgrade comparing leather package as stock from Atlas? How you can compare it.. apart from cost difference.. plus and minus

Also how good is the leather package itself from Atlas ? Quality ? wear?, stitch ? Comfort ?

In 2005 I got leatherite seat covers from Aabpara, adjacent to Toyota Islamabad Motors. I do not know the guy is still there but he was expert in fitting and the material was top quality, matching with interior and fitting was amazing. In 10 years only had cracks on a small portion of driving seat. There was a tire shop and the poshish shop was inside a small lane. Check if the shop is still there. Back then it cost only 3,000 rupees.

The door is in two pieces, the top U portion which holds the glass and the lower main portion. Atlas welded the two portions as circled. Atlas didn't welded anything in the lower portion..

The lower portion is stamped with two panels connected together.. outer which is the exterior of the door and the the inner ; which are then spot welded together.

I don't think so Atlas do stamping here at local facility. The doors comes as it is in two panels and then welded together / top and lower potion at local assembly.. As additional info: All welding at Atlas is manual by hand.. No robotic or laser welding.

Just to give you an idea, The inner and outer pieces are stamped from flat pieces of metal and is a very high tech process. Then these stamped panels are spot welded together to make a lower portion as I said above. Then the top U portion get connected via weld at locations circles. It looks like Atlas only do the circle portion of the weld.

      Thanks for mentioning @zulayed 👍🏻

After a lot of thinking I had finally decided to keep BG Luxo. But today I found a chance I couldn't refuse, replacement of BG with Yokohama C Drive 215/55-16 along a payment of Rs.24000. So I went for it.

Now coming to the difference. The Horizon brand I tried earlier was 18/20 with BG. You can say C drive are 10/20 in terms of road noise compared to BG. The ride feel has slightly improved like on Bumps, cat eyes and potholes. It feels more crisp now.

But if you want to keep BG, they are not bad tyres and could be kept. I went for C drive to end this confusion and the availability of replacement for Rs.24000

The tyre shop is Saif Traders Faisal Town if anyone else from Lahore wants to go through with changing at reasonable budget.

Just as i thought! So that means from now on atlas should import a full door as they cant even weld the two panels together properly!
