Some electric fault as battery was also removed. If it was Honda classic (Most probably they were) then they were very stupid. @fazalwahab11375

Just to confirm that it was u registered.

Battery removed, dash lower part removed, playing with wiring or something.

Many such cars can be found outside Honda Point as well and this is how the tracker is typically installed outside a dealership before the owner takes delivery. Battery is to be necessarily removed for tracker installation.

The bank leased cars having compulsory tracker are not be delivered to owner before its done and the tracker company being an independent 3rd party usually doesn't do this inside the 3S.

      Default after market multimedia panel

Is it true that the Civic warranty would be void if an after market android panel is installed

Yes, though this is true for Toyota's as well that are purchased form Indus. In fact any form of alteration not sanctioned or out of spec voids warranty. That includes, but not limited to, size of wheels/ tires/ electrical and mechanical alterations. However it is theoretically possible to take permission from the company to perform modification either in-house or otherwise. I am not sure it will work, but the owner's manual does allow for this possiblity

Even if you change just the speakers (by just the speakers i mean no amp no new wiring only replacement) the electrical warranty is void.

They logic behind this they gave is: supposs an after market speaker has internal shortage which can result in some electrical shortage of the car wiring that will put the speaker at fault.

So leave alone the fact you can alter the wiring of entertainment system even if its grip to grip but still the camera wire will be new addition to the car. And also apply the same internal shortage of the device formula.

Its far better to spend another 30k on the original navi and lets assume the aftermarket navi and all electrical systems work fine and no warranty claim is ever required, your car will be always tagged as نان جینیوین سسٹم والی گاڑی

US NA. general warranty details https://owners.honda.com/Documentum/...s/AWL47382.pdf

If the new car at the time of purchase are with any defects those are covered and dealer will help customer. In fact every dealership has so many cars and they don't have any shortage. I mean I can go right now and pick up any car with in 3 hours. Its not like you place an order and wait. So of you see any issues at time of taking delivery .. you can stay NO and dealer will change the car for you. If there are quality issues later one after delivery, you can always call dealer or Honda directly.. they take these things very seriously. There are lemon laws and customers are very powerful. over period of ownership the things which wear with time are typically not covered and those are understood. But if after a year of ownership if sun roof is leaking.. its covered .. Generally Honda and other car makers as well are very helpful.

The US is def way ahead when it comes to consumer rights/protections. AU for eg still has no lemon laws but still there is support. PK still far far off from all of this. But I believe it must begin with the consumer asking/demanding his/her rights only then can they begin to be recognized.

Don't know about other 2 car makers of Pakistan but when it comes to Warranty, Atlas is very accommodating. Have been getting many things starting from fuel pump of 8th Gen to PS pipe and mount till Axles of 9th Gen and a fan blower. And last item being the hood shield of my 10th Gen. Always helpful and no excuses.

Curious what happened to the fuel pump? I would think they could have just blamed it on poor fuel. Good that there are dealers who do try to help.

Do you think they will entertain anyone claim for the bad dashboard fitting or any fit problems .. So that anyone who has such problems can go back to dealers . What are your suggestions and opinion for customers like these > https://www.pakwheels.com/forums/civ...53#post5182441

That what I am saying that Atlas need to fix it on the source.. Its cheaper and better.. How many they will fix at dealer? Like @ghayyour bhai said.. vendor has invested in the molds and raw materials and they have certain number of units contract.. the dashbaord will keep on coming like this from vendor.

This can be a very rare case of transmission failure, because there is no recall on CVT at this time.

Do engine and transmission come individually and coupled at assembly or its complete one unit and then installed? any experts ?

By the way just yesterday I witnessed a transmission change under warranty on a 1500km driven turbo. So owners here is the first of its kind issue that has surfaced amongst mechanical problems
Usually people say buying extra warranty is a waste. But with a new transmission and new engine (for the turbo) may be worth getting it at least for a 3rd year.

I'm planning to get it even on Oriel for upto 4 years mainly because of CVT. Last CVT Vario they gave in City did have issues. 3rd is for 9k and 4th for 15k so better to get fourth as well

Always helpful and no excuses.
Its not about manufacture when claiming warranty. Its about stealerships who makes false excuses and try to shift blame on owner.
