Well the 1.8 Oriel is 2,499,000 (Basically 25 lacs) and the turbo is 2,999,000 (Basically 30 lacs) Both ex factory
1.8 Oriel with nav +leather 26.40 lacs and turbo 30 lacs

So the difference then becomes 3 lacs 60 thousand ex factory
what you get additional in turbo:
      1) Remote start
      2)Paddle shifters
      3) 30 more horsepower
      4) rear entertainment

SO the question becomes are these features worth 3 lac 60 thousand for you?( everyone has different requirements)
The main thing we forget is the Turbo engine without which the 1.5 is nothing... Yes, if you want a car for family then go for 1.8 otherwise buying turbo would be useless...

Buddy congrats on the car. I know it's an exiting moment for you and you'll lose track of everything once you see the beauty but make sure you take you jolly good time in checking everything

      Please check the following.

      1. Make sure you take the delivery during daylight and check it outside in the sun for any dents on the vehicles body.
      2. Take your good time in checking the car. You bought it, it's not free, so please take your time and check everything.
      3. There is a checklist of things which you get with the car including the warranty booklet and the Navigation remote control etc, do check that they exist.
      4. Check the seats and make sure the leather is all good as someone I know refrained from taking delivery over torn leather.
      5. Do ask the if they've checked all levels of the car including the radiator level, the oil level etc. I did and I made sure they did show me what was where and how much of it was there.
      6. Have fun and enjoy the ride on and be safe, it's a powerful machine.

These are the only only points I could think of, off the top of my head right now.

Guys had a chance to check civic personally in detail today.

However to my surprise there is not much improvement in the welding of joints and finish of the car may be because there is a long queue for the delivery of civics and atlas is hard at work to meet the requirement.

The bonut release lock liver was loose.

The rear leg room and getting in and out space is rather precise than forgiving specially for taller people.

Low quality Welding and joints finish can be seen in the pictures below (taken today).

I am no critic since i personally like the new shape alot and intend to procure one soon IA .

Default Honda Atlas + Dealerships Negligence Continues!

10th generation civic exclusive pakistan launch -1725448
Today, finally, after being misguided by my dealer for months, I took delivery of my Civic..... and guess what? It too was complimented with Honda Atlas' flagship touch of utter carelessness. It all started when I was given the keys to my car in a dimly lit service bay, and to partly my fault I didn't bother much to check the car thoroughly (because well you are buying it from an "official dealership"). It wasn't until I got out of my car at an auto accessory store to get some shades that I noticed an apparent dent on the driver side door. Despite the fact that my car had to be stationed for a couple of days at the dealership for the registration, insurance, tracker, etc. since it was booked through a bank, the dent was left unnoticed by the careless dealer.

After speed dialling my dealer I took the car back and to my relief they did admit their negligence and arranged a door replacement under warranty for my car.
Now, jumping onto the general build quality, despite some visual improvements, the car's build is far from perfect. Misaligned interior panels, bonnet lock issues are all still there. As for the visible unfinished welds, that issue has been pretty much-taken care of by now (with some exceptions still in place).

We have seen a lot of experiences shared by owners including the all-famous VTE delivery, so it's a must that you take a thorough look at your "freshly delivered car" before signing the papers or else, like me, and many others you would need to resort to the inconvenience of a replacement.

As much as I love the car, question remains as to where are all the QC/QA SOPs dealerships and people on factory have to abide by to?

there is improvement in these areas but can't commit to it considering that the cars i was looking at were at display in the show room.

may be they have become smart enough to find the best pieces and park them on display .

The local assembler philosophy seems charge more, give poor quality and less features.

Hence its proved that the headlamps we have got by default are more aggressive as its stock on the Si variant of the civic X. Blessing in disguise for which we were thankless and cribbed about... 100k over leds are waste for a softer taste!

This is a prototype.. the Si variant will come with LED on top tier trim.. like remaining of Civic line up, regular sedan, hatchback .

Yes the color on prototype will not go in production..as its not rally red..

I came here now after a month . Still can see lots of issues in the delivered cars. Strangely there are no Civic X i can see on Sargodha roads even though lots of people bought it. They are just maybe garaging it. Only saw two in Lahore compared to lots of new Grande's .Very strange

You saw only two in Lahore? Are you kidding me? I live in DHA Lahore man. My daily commute to work is only 10 mins and I see atleast 10-15 civics on the road everytime I drive to work.
