Thread: HELP!!!! Civic 9th gen PT not starting after installation of aftermarket fog lights.

    Exclamation HELP!!!! Civic 9th gen PT not starting after installation of aftermarket fog lights.

    Got fog lights installed yesterday evening.Car was working fine till today.the battery is working fine as honda's logo on i-mid is being displayed but after switching on the ignition,nothing happens (speedometer lights,tachometer icons etc. nothing works) and the car is not starting.
    really worried!!

    okay got u.....now even if i go for regular maintenance i.e after every 5000km,will these fog lights going to be an issue??there are no visible connections as the hood was never opened during the installation.yes there is an extra switch inside which had its place already built,just covered with a plastic-cover!

    as i said honda walon k mood p depend krta hai. i went there in my city with after market sound system and an aftermarket keyless entry system. they did my work under warranty. whereas, situations have been reported on pw in which they void the warranty on very minute and minor things.

    so depends on luck. but yes. risk of the warranty getting void has increases because of aftermarket fog lamps.

    I learnt a lesson when a desi electricion tried to drill the shock of my civic to fix the blaster of HID thank God i was present there and i stopped him

    drill the shock to fix blaster! that is seriously something shitty

    Yeah to be precise it was exactly above the area (inside the bonnet ) where shocks are placed
