Unhappy Civic 99-00 Slip when I apply brake

    AOA Everyone,

I am experiencing an issue in my car from last 1 month but unfortunately today I hit my car from front as I applied brake on speed of 40-50 km/h and my car totally slipped and hits Mehran...
I changed my tires last year its Dunlop 185 R14 made in Japan and thread(guddi) still looks good... but whenever I apply brake even on 40-50 km/h car starts slipping and there is no sound of brake when I press hard pedal as car starts slipping (there is sound of slipping seems like no tire friction)...
P.S. Its Civic 2000 vti oriel (4 wheels disc brakes NO abs)
I just attached photo of my car

but you can't tell about fluid change. check brake lines, flush it and use honda genuine brake oil and also check brake cylinder with servo.

That's why you are facing this issue, that's why I asked you. Your brake fluid life is ended now.

Changed your brake fluid and use Honda genuine brake fluid. For brake fluid change, I would recommend you to go 3s dealership-they are best for their work.

flush the brake fluid from all 4 tires one by one not sucking from brake cylinder through machine. This the correct way of flushing the brake fluid

I will try changing it, but why car didn't make friction sound (like chuuuu ) on hard brake even tires stops rotating and even when tire spins on 1st gear mostly there is no sound of friction (chhhuuuuu)

first change the brake fluid and then check status. Change the fluid as per my explain method of flushing of brake fluid. Also check brake rotors, calipers, and all brake lines as well.

Just check the rear caliper are they working or not as hand brake works via cable not brake fluid

We can look into all sort of diagnostics: rear brake lines, stuck brake pistons, prop valve, saggy suspension, the lot. But at the end of the day it all boils down to tyres, well mostly for sure at this time of year.

Listen to what @hash4u said: over inflated tyres, hard rubber, cold temperatures- when the rubber cannot get warm enough, causing lack of traction- that's your problem. So just drive carefully and maintain a safe distance.
Good luck bleeding the living days out of it, it won't get you any where.

Why are you guys all about bleeding the bleeding brakes and getting pads inspected?
Air in system should cause spongy pedal and lack of brake force. On the contrary his car is skidding, which means brakes are locking up, which means they are gripping the rotor rather well.

This is inertia at work; can be caused by over weighting, failure of front dampers/suspension, brake prop valve failure, or at this instance most possibly by the lack of friction between rubber and tarmac.
