I believe after some days Honda is going to offer some upgrade for 9th gen civic owners, its a best way to upgrade or install only front camera without hurting your warranty.

the camera i installed is capable of being installed inside the emblem too, take off the emblem, in corolla its held by a few clips i don't know about honda, and insert it from the back and either screw or attach it to the plastic where the emblem clips on and clip back the emblem it will pop form centre of the logo, no problem with honda, problem with toyota emblem is that the hole in the centre is not big enough for camera so you need either a camera with a plastic surround like in above pics, or mount it in the right or left hole inside the emblem and not centre,

but for best view and functionality its better to mount it in the bumper, it will be more discreet and less chance to get stolen too

why don't you try getting the camera from honda atlas, maybe you can get just the camera form them, see how much are they charging, if a new owners camera gets nicked i am sure they would have a spare part

ok guys here I am! well I fitted the camera in the place next to the fog lamp as I thought that the left corner is the place where one usually faces difficulty in judging the exact distance. I wired it with the existing rear camera wires. power I got from the stereo as the OEM navi has a spare power output. I used a small switch to turn on/off the power to the camera. when the camera button was pressed ot used to show the front view. used to get a distorted dual picture if the front was left on and reverse gesr lever was put im reverse.. one learns from his mistakes! was given the idea by PWer hasham30 to wire the front camera into thr aux output! why didn't I think of that?? khair, the new camera in the emblem is a good one. I wanted to place ot there bit didnt want to damage the logo as thr cam i installed was the ordinary reverse camera I bought for 2k. cut it and fitted in such a manner that it seemed like OEM when fitted in the black small grill next to the farside fog lamp. Unfortunately had made up my mind many a times to take a pic but somehow was overlooked.
'RESPECT',DIY projects: 1) 'CRUISEMATEC' 1st PKDM 8th Gen Civic with OEM Honda CRUISE CONTROL 2)Steering Audio Controls 3)AUX for OEM 8th Gen 6 CD CHANGER 4)Leather RED H logo!

10000 total for a camera ?? thats insane, why not do a diy for less half the price and get better functionality an resolution, i am sure honda's cam wont be as good as mine which is from a harrier, and anyway like Zunny sir said and like i did its better to mount it lower in the bumper you get a better view that way, and its pretty simple and works properly, i made a video of it in my thread and we both did it for a fraction of the price, and more personal satisfaction as its a DIY

Anytime bro! Yup.. True abt that.. The only reason ppl might go to honda is fr the warranty.. 10k for just a camera is insane bt the option is avlble fr ppl to avail.

Yes. I have laid the cables outside for lights. The wires have been routed beneath fenders covers and bulk head cover shield.
I couldn't take pictures of that part of wiring.
