Default Honda Civic reborn ABS/HAND BREAK/AIR BAG sensor issue

Asalam-o-Alaikum brothers, I changed rare berings of my car and just after fixing it am facing this issue. Does these new berings have some issues or computer need setting? When I start car there is no sign and ABS works but after crossing 40 km/h these signs appears and ABS doesn't work. Please guide

The bearings in these cars have a magnetic coating on one side that faces the speed sensor/abs sensor..the mechanic might have pressed in the bearings on the opposite side hence ur facing this issue..go to that mechanic ask him to remove the bearings and press them in the hub the other way round..

You mean to say left fitted in right & right in left? Should I change their sides? Magnetic sides (black strips) are facing sensor.

If they are facing the sensor then get ur abs/speed sensor checked maybe the mechanic damaged it!

Bro....i was also going into this trouble but fortunately took a right decision at the right time..thanx to my mechanic.....its a short story but it will elaborate....If you have purchased a wheel hub from market then this problem will definitely occur...the hubs (Chine, Taiwan or Japanese) which are available in the market these days are similar to the genuine one but there is a very small difference between them if u keep them side by side...if you look both of these hubs closely you will notice that the metal which is on the top of the hub (coming from the center of the bearing) is little flatter than the genuine one....this metal actually comes in front of ABS sensor and that's the culprit...overall complete hub seems similar to the genuine hub but this little difference makes your ABS sensor malfunctioning....

Now my suggestion is to look out the "KABLI" hub but in a good condition as usually mechanics dont recommend kabli bearings.....thats what i have done and em happy that i have put a genuine hub without any difference....I hope the above story would clear your problem.....

Yes brother my case is similar to yours. Loss of hub bought so called Japanese, those were actually China. Fixed original "kabuli" and issue has been resolved. Thanks brother.
