Default Left side tires worn from outside (Civic) - Camber related advice needed

    Hi All !

I have a Civic which has done 45,000 KM. Just noticed today that both left side tires (left front and left back) are worn out from the outer side. The car has no problem in drive like vibration or pull in the city or motorway. I will take to car in this week to Honda but can anyone give me what could be wrong ?

    Regards.

By tracking you mean alignment or camber ? I was wondering how it appeared, car is only driven by me and it did not hit any uneven surface, runs on canal, cantt and gulberg areas where roads are smooth.

Alignment, Balancing and Camber adjustment together. You may never find out until these are done and clarified

I would have the alignment checked as a start that would include the camber, caster and toe. What's the history of tyres how long have they been on the car? I am sure you would have them balanced when put on! And as for the alignment goes sometimes even going over tiniest pothole can cause the alignment to go bad and on our roads there's plenty of obstacles.

Ok I need a some help. I went to Honda and got tires balancing, alignment and camber. They did front tires cambering. Can the experts help on how camber adjustment is checked and done on a Honda Civic 8th gen. They definitely did camber adjustment on front tires but only checked rear tires with a string and adjust what I would say horizontal alignment of rear tires. Camber you can say its the vertical alignment. I need to know how rear tires camber is checked and adjusted so that I could go back to them and discuss why they only did front camber.

No, I mean the thing they do with rear tires. To check its horizontal alignment. See the image below,
Left side tires worn from outside Civic -1556070

I am saying that they just checked rear tires with this and adjusted them. But this is not rear tire camber adjustment. Camber is below,
Left side tires worn from outside Civic -1556071

Now how a rear tires camber is checked and how it is adjusted on Civic.

I haven't come across an alignment shop yet which can fix rear wheel alignment.
I have heard about a workshop near Queens road though.
Some Suzuki 3s have those machines but I m not sure they know how to use it.

Sent using Curiosity's onboard communications sytem.

Now how a rear tires camber is checked and how it is adjusted on Civic.
on early honda - the lower link arms have eccentric bolts which can lengthen or shorten the arms to adjust camber and somewhat toe too because of different lenghts of the arms.

the newer corollas are set like old VW Golfs, shims are used to adjust the rear. First make sure the bushings are good though
