    Default Gear getting jammed Civic

    Hey guys i have 2014 current shape honda civic vti prosmatic.

    I have a big issue my gear sometimes get jammed specially when its on Parking and when i try to get it back to D it gets jammed and takes a while around 15 20 seconds and sometimes it also takes upto 20 25 minutes. It happens sometimes but its a big issue. when i took it to the mechanic he said that i cant come to the problem until it happens in front of me when i took it to him it was fine that time. he told me if it happens then use shift lock theres a small hole in which he asked me to put the key if it happens but how can i get to permanent solution.

    probably the torque converter of the transmission is damaged or worn out, what is condition of ATF oil in it.

    ummmm - you beleive the torque converter is locking the parking pawl?

    do an idle calibration test from Honda.
