    pw member I have 2003 civic oriel ..........I got 120 maximum on 5 rpm........I have new tyres plugs etc.......

    Yes true, bigger engines dont always mean lower rpm, but when comparing similar applications its is usually the case....

    I recently got my clutch plates changed and I got the exact same reading today as you had in your picture.

    The problem u re anticipating is very rare. I was never concerned about this rpm thing.

    And after this thread, I have started noting this on other cars as well.

    2005 Corolla XLi engine takes 3800rpm at 120kmph, 5th gear
    Confirmed today...

    Well at 2700 rpm you should be at 100km and some 3k you should be at 120. If you are auto see if your gear light in meter blinks and what is your colour of transmission oil
