check if rubber is missing under the car... the little round holes in car chassis have rubbers to keep them closed.

and you can do your own test by spraying water from hosepipe with pressure to see where is the leak.

same answer.. check the firewall area, that seperates engine bay in passenger compartment for rubbers missing. or something not bolted tight, and space left when water is with pressure,, it gets inside.

did you had work done in that area from mechanic?

lol..this is the question of the year.

first of all...it is not normal at all...there should be no water coming inside of the car.

you have to clarify a bit better. you said the water drops from behind the accelerator...if this is the case, which is very very unusual, then it is probably rain water somewhere inside.

you also said you went in 4-8 inches of water on the road...if that is the case...then you have check the rubber moulding on the inside edge of the door. that moulding is there to prvent water from coming inside of the car.

are your floor mats all wet? or are they partially wet? explain a bit more.
I would rather be exposed to the inconveniences attending too much liberty than to those attending too small a degree of it..and so restriction of free thought and free speech is the most dangerous of all subversions.
