i dun think anyone has tried CNG on the new civic so far..
dun know much abt cng technicalities so lets see wat the experts have to say.. though i once heard sumone that it'll be difficult to put cng in the new civic cuz of the more compact engine..

    cheers

    @malishaheen
Congrats bro, awesome car! You can't compare it with any other car in the market. Even the pervious Civic looks humble in front of the new one.

I don't think CNG would be an issue, many guys have installed CNG in iVTEC Accord. But if you're concerned about the hood space for CNG kit, leave it to them, hope they'll find some place to fix it.
If some one is afraid of fuel economy, please remember that it's an iVTEC, not a VTEC. It's far better in fuel consumption.

And to compare Altis with Civic...NO! you cannot compare
    130hp 1.8 DOHC VVTi with 140hp 1.8 SOCH iVTEC

As a whole, VVTi just makes some humble 20% part of iVTEC. And what good is a DOHC if it's producing lesser horses? As fas as I see: there are a hundred thousand reasons to buy Civic, but not a couple of them to buy Altis.

    @ malishaheen.
CNG or no CNG should be the attitude when you are going to buy a top of the line 1800 CC Car .
However if the technicians will not be able to fit CNG in your car after two months than people will doubt your intelligence and not the technicians intelligance.
Anyway congratulations on the booking of Civic and I hope it will provide you with the comfort and luxury you are looking for.

@ahsen_rg. Landi Renzo make much smaller CNG kits also like Omigas in Liana. Though they are not commonly availabel in pakistan through retailer channels however I sincerly hope and pray that within 2 months we have those kits available with us.
Beside small size those kits provide very ecnomical and efficent ride.
If you walk away from your car and don't look back, you have bought the wrong car.

    thanks Ahsen

Well mine will be i-vtec ( manual ) and the delivery date (roughly) will be in the middle of november according to them.
You've got reasonable delivery time , as far as mine is concerned , we'll have to wait and see that when the delivery letter comes.
Well your cousin sure has a long time to wait for it . I hope that i don't have to wait for that long.

Yaar thers no pint of buying a civic , especially now with the 1.8 i-vtec engine , and then putting CNG.
Its like going to an expensive restaurant and having water only. anyway its your choice.

Well Buddy , ive seen cng kits being installed in the new mark2's and accords at many CNG bays around here in my city . So CNG with 1.8 vtec is not a big problem (i think).
