    Default Civic 05-6 Oriel factoryfitted audio problem help!

    the model is civic 2005-2006 oriel (old shape) its new zero-meter. my driver mistakenly pressed the release button which ejects the face plate . the problem now I am having that no matter how I try the I cannot attach the face plate back. I have gone thru the manual 10 times and the faceplate section 20 times but still its not helping. can someone image how frustrated I am feeling. please civic oriel owners help me out

    how about taking it back to the Honda dealership and asking their assistance politely and they should help you.

    other wise someone on PW will surely be able to help you out

    Its very easy just slide in from the side it will automatically fits to its proper place ..If you cant just take it to nearest dealer they ll do it

    probably u broke the plastic grip which hooks the face in. physical damage wont be covered under warranty either. tough luck :|
    u will have to take it to the local car audio repair shops
    Life is short and very unpredictable just like a Quarter mile .....

    I have checked every thing its not broken I would really appreciate if someone could upload the picture of the console without the face plate so that i can really see whether all plastic hinges are intact or broken

    Bro , Its better to go to the dealer before more tries damage face plate

    Athlon, i had a similar problem in my EXI, but the solution was fairly easy, took it to a deck wala and he closed it in a second..lol..well any ways, when closing the panel, apply very minute pressure on the upper left corner of the panel, until you here a "click". Inshallah this should work ..Tc.
