Default Wobbling at high speed with Honda civic exi prosmatic 2006.

I have noticed wobbling of car from left front side at a speed of 110 KM. Before starting the trip I got my all tires balanced and also did wheel alignment. All four tires are in almost new condition fitted on alloy rims. Please tell me the reason of this problem and how to diagnose the actual fault.

go to a better wheel balancing shop
very few of them do it right

dont pay till satisfied n prob fixed

they do point out of tire is defective or rim has a bend to
Life is short and very unpredictable just like a Quarter mile .....

How do you know that the wobbling is coming from the front left side? Try swapping the front tires left and right and see what happens.

if wobbling only happens at high speed than you need to do high speed wheel balancing and alignment. In Lahore for high speed alignment best place to visit for this issue is Khalid Autos near Ganga Raam hospital. You can ask anyone there to where is khalid autos I hope it will resolve ur issue. I had same issue with both of my vehicles Alhamdulillah both are fine now

firstly, make sure that the wheel is perfectly balanced and tyres are perfectly aligned.... secondly, vibration or wobbling is caused by weka inner CV joint.... and are you sure the problem is wobbling and not vibration??? because vibration can be due to weak foundation bolts....another reason for wobbling is that you hit a pothole real hard and the axle flange or the hub is now out of center.... even the slightest deflection can cause the tyre to wobble like a mad man... worn kingpins, ball joints, bushings, tie rod ends, idler arms, strut rods, and even steering gears can let the geometry slip and cause wobbling....if nothing works or you don't want to go in all those things, ask your alignment guy to play with toe in and toe out settings... but that is just hit and trial.... you keep on playing with it until better results observed.....

Thanks for giving me nice suggestions. I have already replaced both old ball joints, front suspension rubber bushes, front shocks mountings but problem remained the same. Well I think Khalid Motors will do the job as I heard that that some workshops lift up the car in air and run the front wheels on high gear and observe the wobbling of wheel and try to diagnose the root cause. I do agree that this kind of wobbling is also caused due to slightly misaligned front drive axle. The damaged wheel hub is also one of the cause. I will soon go to Khalid motors. Thanks Umar for your kind help. I am also thankful to all others for their valuable support. Engr. Khawaja Jodat, Wapda Town, Lhr.

What I feel is if you get cv joint work done it's very unlikely car feels the same... Because I have go through cv joint work and am not satisfied and there is vibration but very less which is ignorable..

My civic would wobble slightly around 110-120... after 130 its rock solid, smooth and tight. below 100 its also all good. I know its balancing because the vibration goes away.

Vibrations caused by inner CVs are more prominent at the time of acceleration. Let go off gas and vibration goes away.

If the car sways with wobble on slightest bumps, check shocks.
