    Couldn't agree more....

Let it be said... Drive the 1.5T and get to feel "THE FEEL" of driving a Civic X....

In S mode manual it's a monster and asphalt licker..... Nothing comes close to it....

When the dealer tried to trick me to change over to 1.8 Oriel instead of booked 1.5T, he went as far as to telling me : " Sir jee...." Yeh toh DISCONTINUE bhi ho Jaye gi, eikh saal ke andher andher"

I laughed...like kiss my ***... New technology nahin, OLD discontinue ho gi.... 😉

From this, I deduce, that the "discontinue" plan had been on the cards since long....

I am glad I stuck to the Turbo version... 👍

Thanks to sam334 for identifying the correct problem about the rattling issue. The noise was indeed coming from the back of passenger seat. Took the car back to dealership, the opened the leatherette cover of passenger seat from the back, did ungal pangay for 10 or so minutes, put some oily hands on the beige leatherette making it black - in the end the noise is gone. It doesn't rattle no more.

As for the discussion between oriel and turbo / tax structure / discontinuation plans - it's obvious that the tax on 1.5 engine is lower than the 1.8 engine however the cost of 1.5 engine is higher than the 1.8 engine. As revealed to me by the dealership itself, the company makes more profit on 1.8 variant hence they wanted more bookings for it. Unfortunately, during the first 10 days 90% turbo bookings came in and they launched the hi-octance circular just then which changed the situation to 70% oriel and 30% turbo.

Now the company says you can even use 87 RON fuel in your car and it will not void the warranty. Why change in so many statements? Because company wanted more and more oriel bookings - coz they make more money on them.

I don't know how authentic this is but dealership also said : NA engines are coming from Thailand while turbo engines are coming straight from Japan costing the company more money.

Pesh bro... I suppose you've visited Shahid Auto in F10?

2-3 shops to the left, same line, ask for "Haroon tyre waala", in fact ask Mohsin at Shahid Autos and he'll guide you there in a minute.

Give Haroon my reference as his customer from "Wah Cantt", or let Mohsin introduce you to him.

Haroon is a young, sharp chap, does fair dealings, but you've to ward of "young blood business sense", with your own understanding of affairs... Samaj to gaye ho ge 😉

Now tyres would be available all around, but I personally always avert the Pindi route and prefer easy surroundings like in F10... 👍

guys, i recently took delivery of my much awaited Civic 'VTE' Turbo

Was prepared to see a few issues, but Atlas really surprised me.. I am sure most of you have noticed the problem.

    Civic X Owners & Fan Club -1724412

No one at Atlas Honda nor dealership Honda Point picked the glaring issue, in fact tried to convince me 'sir yeh is tarha hi ata hai'.

Many thanks to PW for covering it in their blog article as well to raise the issue.

Thanks Faisal, today i visited Malik Asad tyres rawalpindi the biggest dealer in yoko tyres but he said sirji tyres are short i have 215/60 R16 in c drive but i declined....he said wait for few days even these are short in karachi due to overwhelming demand. The shop you mentioned in my opinion is a rip off....and yes Haroon is a sharp person i once visited him for purchasing tyres for my swift.

local made BG luxo is noisy even on low speed and lose grip once u turn off the trc control. On high speed it was not stable and lil scary, those who have changed the tires can tell big difference.
