Default civic 1.5 turbo (2016 10th generation) minimum fuel requirement is ron 91

Honda is saying that minimum fuel requirement for civic is ron 91 so what if we drive this with premium ron 87 i.e. normally available in pakistan. Is there any harm to engine or it just reduces the performance of car output?
