    Angry CIVIC ABS Sensor

    Hello Every one.

    CIVIC 2009 Japan model.

One month before, I changed the right side Axcel seal. After that ABS light is ON.
Mechanic tolled me that it will go OFF after driving (I knew he don't know about ABS), but it remains same (Light is ON).
Next day i went and he remove the ABS sensor and said "wire will be break inside the sensor" so he started to un-shield sensor wire. I warn him, don't do that. First check it through multi meter. But he ignored and............ he messed my ABS sensor.
Now my car is without front right side sensor and light is ON. I need ABS sensor and how much it will cost?

Today I received new sensor, ordered it 1 week before from UK.
When I installed and switched ON my car, ABS light gone. Now it is working perfectly.
So problem was faulty sensor. I don't know how sensor became faulty during replacing the axle seal.
Here new sensor is RS12,375 to 16,500. And from UK it cost me RS:2,750 .

I think there is no method to reset ABS, If light is ON then there is malfunction in ABS (Sensor, wiring or Module).
When you fix the problem then light will automatically turn OFF.
I ave CIVIC 2006-2011 Technical manual. I can share it if you/anybody need.

    ABS sensor was properly installed.

I have read about people changing brake pads to soft leather ones. Their ABS lights came on but automatically went away later.
