First things first. NEVER go for throttle service. It is just a waste of money. It has no use and won't make your car better. The only time you should clean the IACV or adjust the sensors is when you are facing idling problems etc. I have driven 2,00,000+ km and have never felt the need to do anything to my throttle body.

    - If your mechanic removed the Throttle position sensor it would need recalibration. Which is done by checking its voltage and adjusting it.
    - If he messed with the idle screw then there is a separate procedure to reset the idle.

    - If he did not do any of these two things then it is great and you can try the following procedure to relearn the idle settings.

    1. Disconnect the battery for at least 20 seconds to reset the ECU.
    2. Make sure all electrical items (AC, fan, lights etc) are turned off.
    3. Start the engine. Hold the engine speed at 3,000 rpm with no load (in Park or Neutral) until the radiator fan comes on.
    4. Let the engine idle for about 5 minutes with the throttle fully closed (take your foot off the pedal) and with all electrical items off.
    5. Turn the engine off.

Drive around a little hopefully idle will be back to normal soon.

I got sensors calibrated but fuel average has fallen a big time. That guy also tunned the engine and I also got my AC Compressor changed because older one was making strange noises.

But after that tuning, I was facing idle issue, that is fixed and I just checked my fuel avg which is fallen to 6 to 7 from 8 to 9. My car never ever gave me less than 7 and on long route 11 to 12. But now its giving 6 or 7 in city and 9 on long route.

I need to tune it again and change spark plugs?? or what?
