    Default Consumption

I have 88 model Honda Civic having 95 city engine installed in it. Perhaps is 1500 or 1600 CC. The current consumption within the city is 5.5 Km per liter. Is there any way to improve its consumption?

Many thanks Mr. Saboor to reply me. In fact I tried to find out the used carburetor in Mitho Khan but couldn't. Now is there any other solution to fix this consumption problem. What do u think if I go for EFI within the same engine? How far it will improve the consumption? It will cost me 17 to 18 K. Some mechanics say that after converting into EFI, I will face continuous problems? What you or other esteemed members will suggest. Will it be OK if go for the engine change? Which Engine will be best for this old model car?

I assume you have eg civic engine d15 carb. Is your engine running on optimum temp? Thermostat installed? Auto fans? Then adjust the carb and set ign timing to factory specs it should give you 10-11km/l. If you want to go for efi than get complete engine D15B vtec with its wiring, but for efi you have to make other changes also hence not advised until engine is busted completely.
