Default How to update Navigation Maps on Android 2nd Generation

There is a question many people have asked me that how to update Navigation Maps on Android Gen-2
same method will be followed for Honda CIVIC 2016

The difference between previous Head Units and this one is that previous ones have a Navigation SD card that can be updated.

But in Android. the navigation software is installed and there is no separate SD card for this purpose.

then open the Naviextra tool box.

    it will detect your USB.

click on the maps and it will give you an option to update.
once you select that option it will suggest you to take a backup before updating it.
I would suggest to take backup as well. It will take about 4 to 5 minutes.

Now. take out the USB and go to your car and delete the iGO folder from the same location I had mentioned earlier and paste the updated folder from USB on that location.

switch off the head unit and switch it on again

and your Navigation Maps are updated now.

For the information. Latest Maps update available is of 2nd Quarter, 2016
