    Depends how the person drives but 5speed is better for drag racing then 6speed. Less gear changes!

    Get your facts straight first:

    - Civic 2007 is 140bhp roughly
    - CL9 is a 2.4L engine and delivers about 200bhp

    Honestly it's not even a comparison!

    @Starlet
    I disagree stock to stock I have held up with a 2.4L in my Civic all the way but those were auto tranny both so if its the 2.0L Civic can beat it due to power to weight ratio.

    @Racer
    The guy who originated this thread live in ISB ... and I think that he havent seen a civic with 2.0L ...

    He must be talking about 1.6L normal civic avaliable in Pakistan ... well I havent drived CL9 but I had some experiance with CL7 Triptronic ... in first gear she touches 70km/h ... and I recently drives Honda Civic new model with 1.8L SOCH 140HP engine ... with auto tranny in 1st gear on her digital meter she touches 53/54 km/h ...

    I was surprised that why she is so slow ... although she was brand new ... and the CL7 was 2002 model ...

    Must be the 4speed or five speed difference.

    As for the 2.0 I meant the Accord not the Civic, my typo
