    Default Civic VTI - Vibration --- Urgent

    All,
    I have civic vti 2005, I am facing problem with break,
    when I press break on high speed I feel vibration of break Padel and Stearing.... is this due to wheel balancing or some this else ??

    If you are feeling the vibration only when you are braking then it must be your brake discs. It cant be simple wheel balancing problem from what you have described.

    brake pedal judder is fine as ABS is engaging but reg. shaky steering wheel, maybe u ve worn disk pads/calipers

    I believe VTi is with ABS and thats the noise created by ABS when brakes are applied on higher speed. Do u also feel it at the brake pedal?
    My favorite vehicle now a days is a "GOLF" cart.

    thats probably the abs working! nuttin to worry about do u also hear a sound with it?? if so its prolly the abs! this is not concerned with wheel balancing coz well wheel balancing is out when u leave the steering wheel of ur car and it tends to go to the left or right rather than straight! ne how its prolly the ABS (Anti lock braking system) nuttin to worry about!

    thanks, I will check the disc pads.... it was replaced by Honda at 10000 KM becasue I forgot to release the Hand Brack and went to motor way.... now I have 20000 KM done on my VTI

    One more thing, do I have to chnage the break plates as well?

    just get brake adjustment done n tht shud solve the problem!nothing serious!so relax...chill karo!
