    Default 18" or 17" alloy rims for civic 02

    need suggestion which rim should i buy for my 02 VTI

    1)- 18" alloy rims with nexen tyers N-7000 225/40 r18 (slightly used not more that 1000 kms)

    2)- 17" alloy rims with dunlop or yokohama tyers 215/45 r17 (brand new)

    i agree with ahad 100%, 18's are too big for the car and will make it undrivable (though they'll look slightly better)

    i agree they look great but the ride will be like that of a tanga.

    my bro was getting almost similar design, for alot less than 93K


    btw 17x7 is the maximum u should get for that car
    and expect to change ur suspension aget 60-70K kms

    i've added body kit to my civic now, i think these rims looks kool at modified civic. no doubt it looks like tanga if car is in stock condition.

    @ red bull
    17" rims r easily available in 50k to 60k, but those rims r in 18" with almost new nexen tyers

    was getting rims + 225 tyres under 50K
    18 inch 5nut rims for 45-50K

    17" rims with tyers new
    chaines in 40k to 50k for both 5 nut n 4 nut
    taiwan in 60k almost for both 5 n4 nuts
    and chrome 17" is for 80k plus

    these 18" rims r not chaines nd with tyers
    what u think how much should i pay

    go for 17" . 18" will be too big for the car. the ride will become very stiff and uncomfortable and the suspension will worn a lot more quicker as compared too 17".

    u should pay like 50k plus for good 17 inchers.

    dunno if they r chinese or not, but the 17" ones of the same rims in the pic above are for 28k in isb...

    and i'll suggest going for the 17" ones...
    we'll miss u...

    17 inch=25K - 35K
    17 inch tyres=6K, dunlop sp9000, formula fm901, yokohama es100, yokohama a drive

    18 inch, 40-50K rims
    tyres=8K
    Alpha Romeo 156

    well look 18" equals bad drive, suspension is affected but nothing to worry bout cuz im sure ull hav 10k to spare after 60k km of usage of 18"... but 17" r much better.. u'll get more drag on em n will drive more comfortably

    bro what you didnt notice in pic above where guy holding tire next to civic. once it goes in wheel. car will rise up like a landrover.. then youd need lowering springs to bring it down.

    why 17 or 18... i guess 16 is excellent for a VTI... 17 18 mein to gari ki maa behn honay wali baat hai.. anyway choice is yours buddy
