    YOKOHAMA 195/55/15 " C-DRIVE " pattern !!! is good for corollas and also for civic but ,

    for civic " SUMITOMO JAPAN " 205/65/15 are best !!!

    @innocent_devil
    in the US & UK civics come with 185/70R14 tyres (615mm)

    you suggested:
    195/55R15=596mm (-19mm from 185/17R14 - 3.09% too small)
    205/65R15=648mm (+33mm from 185/17R14 - 5.37% too large)

    why would you advise tyre sizes which are not the right size for the application?

    on a 15 inch rims the 2005 civic would have to use:

    215/55R15 (+3mm)
    195/60R15 (0mm)
    185/65R15 (+6mm)

    all of these sizes would be less than 1% larger or smaller than the OEM tyre and therefore have no effect on the speedometer.
