    Default N2O's K20A3 Civic

    I have thought to make a new tpoic to update on the things going on in my ride,i have made other 2 but im merging those topics in this.
    Here is the k20a3 swap i have done in my 2002 civic,had many problems,was betrayed in the dealing,but ALLAH gives u a reason to move on,mind u,swap is really a pain in the A$$ :p,anyways i was supplied by a faulty ecu,and so i bought the hondata k-pro for it,neccessary for me in this stage.Here it is

    Sir, don't you suggest an intake hole in the hood? It'll help even better in sucking cold air.

    @racerf1: yea u r right,we had that in mind to do it as the intake is really sucking in hot air,around 125f is the reading from the k-pro,where i heard it shod be near 90f,so i am gonna re-allocate it tom inshallah,how much wod it affect if i completely remove one head light to pave way for a better air flow while i have re-alloctaed the intake??

    @N2O
    Well yes it would definatly help cause that would channel in more air into the intake. But I do not think that would be neccessary cause that would bring in more dust and sand with it.

    @n2oahsan
    well yes he could do that but I am not sure it would be better but with the hole there might be risk of getting rain water into the intake and causing the engine to hydrolock and expensive repair.

    N20 now i got it....u were lucky to get those on bargainable price......even they start producing K-pro for F20c n F22c ........so u have to wait for clutch n fylwheel......wat bout cams? i wud recommend to get K20a2 cams.
    My lugnuts require more torque than your Vtec can put out...

    @ser_gtr: the response has improved tremendously,the torque is really addictive,even on the low rpm's like from 2500-3500 its gives really good torque

    today after a very long time i was free and i went to the workshop to gets its timing alligned to its original fitting,i gave the car in the afternoon and in the evening it was done first when the timing was out it idled really rough and the exhaust used to smell of wasted petrol,and the fuel average was really bad,around 6
    Now after the timing the idle is smooth as silk,the pick and top end has improved slightly better,exhaust doesnt smell of petrol anymore and i have seen that the car isnt "drinking" fuel as much as it used to,now tom i wod try to diagnose the vtec issue,as i learned that the vtec wod engage when the timing wod be correct
