    Default radiator problem of civic 2002 vti oriel

    i dont knowe abt other cars but i always find the water level of my cars radiator low after a drive of normally 50+ kms... almost 1 glass or a bit more is then poured in by me in the spare bottle n a liittle bit in the radiator itself....

    so guys plz help me wats the cause, is the head gas kit burnt out???
    or i need to put coolant in it as i dont c any colored water in it..

    and the cars temperature gauge doesn't rise up above the half... even it stays a bit below than half line and physically the bonnet or engine doesn't get v hot, it remains normal..... just is the problem of lowerer level of water in the spare bottle n a bit in the radiator...

    plz help me out

    If there is water in the radiator it doesnt sound like a problem. Try not filling the 'spare' bottle (overflow/reservoir bottle) for a day or two. If you are losing significant water in the actual radiator then you have a problem.

    put some coolant. reason its coloured and any hose pipe leaking, even if water evaporates, it will leave a trace behind. i am trouble shooting similar problem with my vti

    it was a 2000 model slk and its not mine
    the vti is mine
