    Default Oil or Gas based Shock Absorbers for Civic

    From a technical viewpoint which shocks are advisable for a daily use car? i have read that gas shocks are more responsive hence offer a smoother ride as compared to oil based. However, they are less durable than oil shocks which offer a longer life!

    Would appreciate views/ feedback from members who have any experience on gas shocks and can give an objective comparison 'n critique! Thanks.

    @umair86pk
    how much did you pay for them? I also need to get the rear shocks replaced in my car.
    Never argue with an idiot, they drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

    @hash4u bro! since ur case is most relevant to me so i think i can seek ur feedback on the improvement in ride comfort/ handling of ur civic after gas shocks! i assume u got rear changeover only!?

    plus.. i m due to get rear gas shocks for my civic from khi, which workshop 'd u recommend? and where do u take ur civic for tuneups?
