    @^^
    Altis auto is NOT equal match to new Civic, race them both with equally talented drivers and then youll see.

    Compare the pick and acceleration of Accords/Civics with Camrys/Corollas - there you find the difference. And if you delimit the cars, the Accords can go well over 200 , but theres no point in intentionally killing yourself as this is suicide which is Haram in my religion (Islam)
    What good is a Genius without the Human aspect?

    @HG,

    Man the Civic has one disadvantage over the Altis, that is weight, it is quite a few hundred pounds heavier than it. But yes, equally talented drivers would probably be in the Civics favor, its numbers are well ahead of the Altis.

    @vicky786

    I feel that u still have not received a comprehensive reply which u were hoping for.
    I hve driven both cars and here's my feedback.
    aceleration: new civic has a better acceleration than CL7 due to better power to weight ratio of civic. CL7 has more power but its also much heavier..

    comfort: CL7 takes an edge with better and softer suspension. civics suspension is a bit stiff/rigid and so not very comfortable.

    reliability: depends. if u go for an unregistered and clean CL7 it can be reliable but u must get it checked at a mechanics before buying bcz I hve seen poor cndition CL7 even among unregistered cars and its v. important to get a clen vehicle. I suggest avoid going for a registered CL7 bcz in that case civic will be new and will give u peace of mind..

    resale: civic has better resale as normally accord as soon as registered will loses 10% of its value and depreciates fast over subsequent years.

    so it all depends which of the above characteristics carries more attraction for u.

    hope I helped u out.

    Salam

    Buying a used CL7 is a risky business and I will not recommend it since you never know the actual mileage and condition. parts would be expensive and will be heavier on petrol.

    New Civic is a better option here as it is 0 meter, under warranty, easier to maintain as parts would be cheaper. it will be easy on petrol.

    So I think Civic will be a big peace of mind
