    Moved to Correct Section [Mod Edit]


    is this possible? im thinking of a b18 or h22 and turboing it, is it possible with the remaining space in the engine bay?

    Why not b20b/z? not with b16 head...the compression ratio wud be low so 14-15 psi wont kill it...

    yea thats the sad part,well i hope something works out for k-series,otherwise dont do B-H series on this,get a 95/97/99 civic and do it on that

    or why dont u try for a frank build? get a k24 from any market for 130-150,run it for a while and then save up and get a k20a head for about $1300 shipped,i have seen vids of these franks and they got mighty torque,if ur starting up again then start the right way.i can just give u two advices at the moment

    k20a3-160hp
    this wod be equal to or better than a 97 vti stage one plus 50 shots wet nitrous,im telling this as i have proven it.but with k-pro that is :p alot of fun to drive and can be daily driven without any probs

    k24(a1/a4)
    both of these are 160hp but with alot of torque,these are the bases of the frank builds,can be bough for 120-140k but in auto,u dont get these in manual,they can be mated with any k-series manual tranny and can be mated on a k20a head to make a frank build.but to run the frank u need to have k-pro

    **k-pro is still needed to make any of these work though as u wod run it manual and without immobo,if u go to civic 95 onwards and get B-H series theres isnt much complications in them,just get a h-series,swap it in and wire it up and ur ready to go,plus the k-series stuff is espensive as u wod have seen.

    its not that its lighter, the B's and H's fit the 95 up models....other wise the b18 type r is pretty much as fast as the k20


    damn man, wh do these k's hav to be so expensive!?!

    K20,K20,K20....everyone is swapping K20 these dayz....tht why it's expensive.....from last 2 yrs in hondatuning magazines seeing all K20 swapping in ef,eg n ek civics....nowadayz it's K20 market.....btw i ll say save for red top K20 type r.....it get crazy wit K-pro...one of my friend got front cut DC5 integra type r n bout to swap in new civic
    My lugnuts require more torque than your Vtec can put out...

    hpr did do a 2002 h22 civic i think .
    and there are alternatives if there isnt enough space for a normal turbo install.
    how about a top mount system, it can be done , you'll find a couple of such setups onlin.

    y not try the f20c for sale on pw... if the moor is decent enough than you are looking at 260 hp stock
    its all about power to weight ratio...

    @umair: tht F20c is with K20 transmission tht wat he told us...so i think it ll swap
    My lugnuts require more torque than your Vtec can put out...
