Default B or H series in 2005 civic

Moved to Correct Section [Mod Edit]

is this possible? im thinking of a b18 or h22 and turboing it, is it possible with the remaining space in the engine bay?

I 2nd N2O , buy a 95-99 Civic , swap in an H22 give it some nitrous and you are all good to go !

    offtopic
i dunno y do people prefer nitrous over boost! there should be a separate topic made , so people can share their experiences ..!

since nitrous costs less and can give the power of turbo depending on the amount of shots, but turbo is turbo, the fun and power of turbo can never be matched...

N/A is ****(Edit By iiqbal)!!!! honestly i dont know why i just hate n/a after going boost

@storm, nah bro, was planning to, dropped it...

@innocent driver, i said it before, and ill say it again, it was my engine that was F'd, not hpr's fault.... show me someone who has tuned a 667 whp supra which is still running...and if it was their fault i dont think this wud be the 4th time i would be going back to them... something to think about isnt it?

@insane, well said...we'll see how it turns out, i say arent you a bit too mature to be "tanz'ing" around with someone pretty much half ur age?

secondly have u gotten a car tuned by hpr that ur so confident about wt ur saying?

    Ahad

In a civic, I'm more inclined towards N/A power. Take a look at the following, it seems pretty do-able. I suppose you could squeeze it under your budget:

    http://autospeed.com/A_107982/cms/article.html

If you're going turbo, best go for a serious sleeved, forged-everything-D16. That's perhaps the only way you can do it properly.

    Cheers!

    @Ahad..

i am not an expert on this stuff...as some of the others are here but i do believe that if u r on a budget u should drop the idea of "swap" altogether....not to mention the hassle it will give u....considering u have an 05 model....

u are probably tired of ur d16/17 because it has screwed up a couple of times and u just want to get rid of it....again if u r on a budget and cant afford something like a k20r the best option still is to change ur d16/17 internals completely.....make it a proper build.... get a GT28R or something... push it to 1.5 bar....and u can get abt 300 at the wheels... and thats more then wat u will get from any swap set on 7/8 psi.....

it will be much cheaper....motor will more reliable....and will give more power....

    just my two cents....gluck

there was an 05 civic (f'ugly btw!) which had an h22 swap in it but the swap was done somewhere in pindi...the idiot who was doing the swap shaved the throttle body or i think cut open a manifold n joined it together or something stupid of the sort to get it in and going and wasnt ableto get it working...the car was brought down to hpr then to have it looked at...a few days ago the guy came to hpr and apparently his h22s runnin alright...so i suggest u give salman a call n discuss it with em...u can get an h22 for abt a lac in pindi...
