Salam. I recently changed the engine oil in my civic and got cng installed. I checked my engine condition if the engine is giving any kindov blow. I took out the Lubricant Oil gauge and found very tiny drops of Oil coming out. I checked with the mechanic and he told me its because of Zic a+ which is very thin oil. Rest the engine is perfect. 2ndly i feel a lil jerk in the second gear. I have driven the car for 45k now. Is it because i need to change the transmission oil? kindly help.
Try to use only Honda's engine oil.You guys are lucky that you have company's own engine oil.Its best for your car.
I dont think Honda's engine Oil is that good........ Or is it? opinion needed guys..
Boss shell is the best ive used it on all my cars no problems at all
Good check your rides engine mounting or mite be fuel pump.Secondly il advise iif you want to run CNG than go for manual Autos not good for cng can spoil ur transmission any day.
I had a bad experience with the previous car i owned and i used shell lubricants. They spoiled my engine. 2nd auto tranny is ok with civic but not with city. It gives problems..
I think ur transmission oil change is due.......... the honda city manual says that the trans oil (CVT) needs to be changed at 40ks, u better consult ur car manual for the oil change mileage............
but i am more concerned why the drops of oil were coming out when i pulled out the oil gauge? could some expert tell me?
