    Moved to Correct Section [Mod Edit]

    WAT DO UU GUYZ THINK???????????
    Comments please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    I feel Premio isnt bad..comments??
    .

    It may have something to do with seeing the Mercedes star on the hood guiding the way, the Benz specific solid feel, the Power, the Looks, the Prestige, but whatever it is, its intoxicating!!

    more safety features and better build quality in the premio, however the civic is not a bad car at all but the price is WAY too high in my opinion.

    When a motorcycle wala, while ogling at a SWOT (single woman over thirty) hits your Premio's rear brake light, where do you go to have it replaced? No where in Pakistan. U Import it from Japan/Dubai. At least in Civic's case, chota will get it for you from Mehran Autos babo mohalla Pindi.

    indeed replacement parts are much more expensive but i don't think that should be a factor when buying a car, specially if safety is a priority. Do note there are many reasons why import parts cost more, such as better quality, transportation, importing costs, etc.

    however if you don't really care for safety and just want good resale and cheap parts you can go for any local car.

    Highly contestable. Both have Dual SRS airbags, and the build quality is hardly classified as better. Premio is just an upscale Corolla.

    If you want to buy a sporty mean looking machine go for the civic.
    If you are sporty as well as elegant go for premio.
    If i was given a choice i'd go for the premio.

    @ all .....mind you honda dosnt has a good re-sale as well.........secondly many ppl go for accords in that range.............atleast in my mohaalah only there are 4 accords instead of civics theres only one civic (dats also office given).............secondly no doubt its a good car but i agree with sameer bhai.....its too expensive bhai........and its not offering any thing........atleast they should give the cruise control or the sat nav..............or may be a key-less entry in the base model............
    Get over the fact that Xli lacks power windows, Its an Xli because it lacks thoose features or else it would be a Gli or an Altis if had all the goodies.

    i can assure you that due to poor materials and pakistani build quality (cutting corners) that there is NO crumple zone or safety cell in the local civic. also i have a hard time believing that honda PK is offering seatbelt pretensioners.

    BTW personally i HATE corollas in any form, but if i had to throw my money at one of these cars, i'd choose to go for a premio as i refuse to buy anything made by the local mafias.

    @Storm

    The car is not made locally, its fenders, body panels are imported. The crumple zones are there and so are the pretensioners. This is not Indus Motors we're talking about here

    ^ ditto

    @Storm,

    Btw, I wouldn't be vocal about a product I don't have experience with. I did have a head-on collision in my Civic a while ago-- the crumple zones and pretensioner work like they're supposed to.

    I would go for a Premio, or better Allion.
    Every time someone refers to Honda Civic as 'reborn', a puppy dies! Oh and I hate increasing my post count.

    LOL!!!!!!

    I CANNOT believe this is even being discussed.

    Premio is no match for the civic! Go out on a date on premio and then take her out on the civic compare when you get more of it ,, if you know what i mean hehehe...

    Are you guys actually serious? I cant stop laughing though. premio 2 year old import and a brand new civic!! no spare parts for premio , premio is the ultimate PATHAN CAR!!!! its the new Cheeyaasi Corolla (86 corolla) they are just nuts about the push start function!

    Jesus christ i cant believe i wasted 5 minutes of my life talking premios! death to toyota!!!!

    @cylestyne
    we have 4 new civics in the office car pool one had a frontal accident at approx 65km/h the roof buckled severely. so it seems to me that the kits sent here are not of the same standard as anywhere else in the world.

    there is a reason why we cannot export local cars from here and it has nothing ot do with controls from our government. it has to do with the fact that they are death traps on wheels.

    i know it's hard to digest when someone owns one, but local cars suck, ther is no debate on that. BUT the new civic is as close as we are going to get to a VERY safe car in PK for a long time and i applaud honda PK for that.

    @all
    like in the airbag thread, i'm going to stay quiet now and not make a mess. i have voiced my opinion and nothing anyone says will make me change it, and nothing i say shoudl make you change your mind either. you are all entitled to think for yourselves.

    body quality and engine, both ways Japanese technology is way ahead. this is just one thing i saw in TWO civics at the same time at Honda Motors.

    2005 PREMIO vs 2008 CIVIC -833960

    2005 PREMIO vs 2008 CIVIC -833961

    this is just ONE defect. m sure there are many. again, i'd say Japanese cars rock.

    After reading your ******** reply now i m start to laugh u r talking about the girls.That girls who dont know how to pluck out their cloth after standind into their *****.And still u r comparing PREMIO with the local junk Civic.Premio is 1.8 and civic is 1.6.Premio has a decent look but civic has a phatty look.Premio has 2 airbags and civic doesnt have a 1 airbag i suppose.Premio is a japanese assembled vechicle.And the civic is a PK assembled car.Just think about the difference and then compare these two.

    ^^ Agree but the new Civic so called reborn civic is 1.8.
    Premio comes in two versions which are 1.5 and 1.8 so premio gives a variety for our choice. It has three grades in its features which are X,F,G and civic offers two.
    Premio offers tow engine sizes which are 1.5 and 1.8 whereas civic only one.
    HHAHA id go for the premio without even a second thought
