And thats a Link for Edmunds review of the 7th generation Civic, here's a snapshot:
Still the head of its class, the 2005 Honda Civic is the most refined, solidly built economy car on the market. With the sedan and coupes, the driving experience isn't the most exciting to be found in this class. The suspension is tuned for a refined and comfortable ride, not necessarily performance. The interior is roomy and quiet, however, and this allows the 2005 Honda Civic to be an excellent car for both commuting and long-distance trips. The Si hatchback is more fun, though not as much as other sporty coupes.

Finally, where were you? :p
Cylestyne's clips should be read thoroughly. Its from Edmunds, so...anyway, its basically stamping my point that Honda's 7th generation Civic sedan is substantially more practical than its Daewoo/Chevrolet counterpart.
Well, there are very few kids of my age who think and behave like me. Most speak without knowing, answer blindly and question senselessly. Anyway, I certainly hope the youth of today grows up to be revolutionary. The world actually needs it!
Yeah, if I ever get a chance I will certainly test drive an Optra. Does it only come as 1600cc, or is there another optional engine variant (in PK)?
Regards to all
What good is a Genius without the Human aspect?
at last u are here and came up with good info (Y)
if tc=p then hc=m where tc is equal to toyota corolla and p is equal to paindu, and hc is equal to honda civic and m is equal to moron
optra would have been a strong competitor to 1.6 civic in our market, just isnt marketed well and the impression that its a daewoo vehicle makes it suffer.. the other thing is the resale but most important thing, is the after sale service good and that the spares are available?
don't love the car you own.., own the car you love!

That does not mean anything. Chevorlet took the design and some things from Daewoo but the engine and most of the main stuff is totally redesigned.
And don't say Daewoo can't stand against Honda. Lifez pretty fast... I remember few years ago people used to compare Hyundai with Honda... and every one would vote for Honda...
But now? Hyundai took over Honda in number of sales and performance...
Agree with you 101%
No way can a Chevy (or Suzuki as the Optra is) be "fun to drive". However EVERY Honda in the past 10 years certainly offers real driving pleasure. Right behind BMW
Try driving some American cars... trust me... you will forget Honda...
In comfort and handling.. No way Honda can compete against American/German cars... Most people I know buy Hondas because of small engine sizes and reliability.. not for comfort.
Large displacement and nothing else!
r chevy people going to upgrade the optra shape or its going to be the same for another few years
yar agar optra itni hi superb car hai tou logg civic hi kyun letey hain, i mean ppl here r nt so wealthy that they buy the car with their eyes closed so kuch tou hoga jo hum loggon ko civic leney per mujbur kerta hai.
VTEC did not kicked in ooooo
