    heck man, 90 km on a 55 liter cylinder (with a/c) is good. remember to keep cleaning the air filter every week (at least). and don't be shy about taking it back to the mechanic for tuning of the fuel/air mixture. this service should be free, don't pay unless you feel like tipping the guy for exceptional service.

    should do more....

    drive it softly.. dont turn on VTEC while running on CNG.. i-e dont take ur car above 4.5 RPM.. Dont drive it at load...... u'll get more millage for sure..

    do a survey... select a best CNG station in the town. It also matters from where u fill in the CNG!!!

    you are one lucky guy! My 2002 Vti manual does approx 75-80 in the city and 90-100 on the Mway in one tank full. Have tried all kinds of gimmicks to get better millage but to no avail!

    @Xtrapreneur
    I think the reason being my car has done only 15000 Kms in three years. CNG is recently fitted otherwise it was run on petrol. Also it was professionally fitted by Aneeq CNG at Sixth Road, Satellite Town, Rawalpindi.

    You also go to them and get your car checked.

    Hi Teafi,

    Try to measure the average in per Kg of gas instead of in terms of 1 cylinder.
    I'm using honda civic VTI 2005. It normally goes app. 90 to 100 Kms in local with AC, with almost 8 Kgs of Gas. While on long it goes upto 165 with 8.6 Kgs of gas. On long the average comes to be app 19 KMs per Kg of gas. (I have measured this average more than 3 times on the motor way while travelling from Isd to Lhr).While in city the average comes to be 11 to 12 Kms per Kg of gas.
    For having a better average, try to keep the air filter in neat and clean condition, dont push the accelarator to its limit specially in first two gears, try to change the plugs every 7 to 10K kilometers, though its early but its better with CNG. Keep the thermostat of your car AC a bit low and have the service of the AC done as well.
    Hows your car average on petrol on long and in local??

    for economy u should have bought exi manual.
    try running ur car on petrol and u will understand when it will give an average of 7-9km with ac in local.
    for now keep cleaning air filter and try reducing gas flow a bit(car should remain drivable)
    Life is short and very unpredictable just like a Quarter mile .....
