Great mod but I hope you got a fair price on it.

Push start button costs $55 USD with free shipping to Pakistan if you buy it from eBay.com here.
    mugen civic -924187

ProSpeed is charging a mind blowing $105 USD for the exact same thing. They even copied the photo from the eBay page so it leads me to think they buy their products from eBay and put a 100% profit margin to click a button for you.

Why would I profit only $10 when you're charging $105? Buy 25 at @ $95 and we have a deal

P.S. I've done my share of selling and purchasing from eBay. A 100% markup is really pushing it.

Well, it seems you're good at googling or searching on ebay. Unfortunately you need to get an idea of how an import business runs and what the ground reality of importing stuff into Pakistan is.

When you can do the math, you can come and buy the button at $105 from us.

    Regards,
    Asher.

Cylestine, there and done that. I have bought things from eBay for the last 7 years. I know my way around and I believe even after duties and taxes are taken into consideration and you have a very healthy mark up.

Anyway, leave it. We're going off topic.

^ Altis doesn't have a push start button or an option for one. That button is an OEM Honda. Its not meant for your car.

No, you haven't been "there" or done "that" unfortunately. I'm not importing 1 thing off ebay (or from ebay at all). When you import a buckload of goods at 1 time and have your own clearing agent and do everything via the legal channel, let me know what your cost is.

When you operate on the scale that we do, you'll understand the maths is completely different. Everything from sending money from Pakistan to our sellers in whatever country, right down to the packaging our goods come in is a part of cost. Not to mention the cost of our office in Bradenton (USA).

What exactly do you think we make on these push start buttons? You're dreaming if you think our "margin is 100%".

You can install an S2000 push button in your car but that means figuring out the wiring yourself and drilling a hole somewhere on your dashboard.

Listen, I dont care if you're importing a thousand pieces or having to deal with clearing agents.

All I care about is the customer's bottom line and the fact of the matter is anyone that's looking to buy 1 starter kit is better off buying it directly than paying a 100% premium to have ProSpeed buy it for them.

If you're so concerned, then feel free to give that advice to everyone you meet (y)

Also feel free to import it yourself and educate other people how to do it without getting ripped off.

At the same time provide the after sales service that needs to come with such items (warranties, guarantees, service).

I don't recall our company putting a gun to ANYONES head asking for business. Usman bhai here is a very competent person and knows exactly what costs how much considering the nature of cars he keeps and his taste.

I have satisfied customers including Usman here (wheelspk) all the way to Usman Buksh who know how to use ebay pretty well

Thank you for your concern and initiative towards netizen social responsibility.

Great stuff usman, we had to go through alot of khuwari our self to get it working here...glad asher helped you out

    @anonpak

wow talk about thread crapping at its best . Firstly the internet is open to all, we do not force any one to buy our products with a gun to their head, people come to us due to the convenience and customer support offered. Nor does every one have the ability to pay through paypal (we incur transfer fees too). If you have issues with our prices, kindly email or call, thread crapping in such a way is simply not appropriate. Ok so you're willing to offer at $95 that too 25 pieces...wow...what savings..so the fuss is over $10?..we can prolly offer a cheaper price in case some body wants 25 pieces from us

Cylestine: :-) No harsh feelings. Yo're just doing your job.

Akhbar, Hunny asked how much it was and I answered honestly. My second post followed up and I said "leave it, we are derailing the thread" but Cylestine kept going and then you joined in. Now tell me who's thread crapping? :-)

This is the last you heard from me on this topic. If anyone wants to buy parts directly from eBay feel free to PM me and I'll guide you.

If hunny asked you it would have been a valid point, but then again i'll let it go, there's no use arguing with you. I kept going? just one reply on my part in order to clarify your misconception. Any ways glad that you'll be offering ebay purchasing services here (Y). Besides cant you read properly, its Akbar, not Akhbar

    lolz @anonpak

there is 60 to 70% import duty on the value of goods
Other then tht Transaction charges Sales Tax etc even if u import through GPO
Other then tht Clearing charges which they charge according to there will.
so the price they are charging is quite reasonable considering all the factors.
