Default Hey Civic fans - hold your horses for new shape

To all civic fans out there!!

Guys who are scheduled to buy a civic, please hang on and dont go for the current shape. the new shape is due to arrive soon in Pakistan (Feb-March, 2006).
I feel that at present, buying the current civic (2005) would be a mistake as the entire car has already been re-designed including the engine displacement (from 1.6 to 1.8)and its due to arrive in pakistan soon.

i wonder who and why would someone buy the current civic knowing that the new shape is around the corner and how would honda be able to sell the current shape between now and Feb, 2006.

Why worry, would sell the current shape, when new one arrives..so keep enjoying every civic you can get your hands on
Be polite on the road. Always give way to others, particularly ambulances and pedestrians.

The 1.8 is supposed to do as good/bad as the current 1.6vtech motor as far as the fuel economy goes. Gas prices are not going to deter buyers from buying a 1.8 motor if its fuel efficient.

guys i am sure that in pakistan honda will offer more than one engine sizes in the upcoming civic. most probably a 1.6 or 1.5 will be offered along side the 1.8 litre.

@ok. the new civic is totally revised car and not similar to the current one except for the rear lights which somewhat resemble the current version.
