    Default Civic exi 98 wheel bearing part no.

    I need part number of wheelbearings.
    civic98 with rear drum brakes
    car started making loud noise and sound gets louder as it picks up some speed, so i think its time to replace wheelbearings.

    also if anyone has idea of price of wheelbearings,pls let me know

    thx.

    @hash
    you have link of yr thread on suspension work?

    used stuff (kabli) is too broad varity as far as quality life for part is concerned.

    i want to finish work in one go not going back to mech to replace bought parts again because car is not avaliable for long hours with mechanics.

    yr mech saw the fault in yr car and suggested hub replacement,, lets find out first if i need the whole thing or one part-- i thought about it and solution i think is to open car wheels first to look what's making loud noises.

    I got front wheel bearings replaced on my 96 Civic Exi several years ago. At that time it cost a little more than 3000 per bearing.

    Bro, civic is fixed today, all 4 wheels work done hubs changed new bearings fixed in, plus steering column ends, plus alt belts plus rotor polishing, plus i dont know what else,, total cost abt 12k with labour and running ard for parts. etc. i will check boxes, reciepts asap and put part no. etc here.

    so far i heard car is running all quite now today. hopefully it should be ok,, mainly the floods on roads in past months had caused some damage to many cars as far as my analysis goes.
